Outstanding food and service tonight!You just can't beat the beer and wine selection. We went with the classics: HOW burger, a Crock of French Onion Soup, and French Dip. He had the Oatmeal Stout on tap, and I picked a lovely Prairie Bomb confection from the cooler. The hostess attentively cleaned our table before we sat down. Our waitress was wonderful. I don't know her name, but she used to work at The Galley. Every previous concern we had about the House of Wines was resolved tonight. We usually sit in the room to the right. We appreciated a little background music to drown out conversations. Again, no complaints or concerns. It is obvious that the staff is well trained now! Great job!!!

This is one of the best places to eat in the MOV! There is always something new and fresh on the menu and the patio space overlooking the River amazing!

Normally, we come on Thursdays for the sushi, but this week we decided to go on a Friday. The pumpkin soup tasted fine, but it was not hot. The moscato tasted fine, but it was not cold. I did not care for the lasagna, which was $28. It was presented beautifully (see pic) but the taste didnt measure up. It was pretty dry. My fiance said his chicken was average and not big enough to fill him up, not worth $24. The best thing on the entire menu was the prime rib Flatbread, and they don't have it anymore. I did like the apple cider slushy, which was cheaper than the moscato and actually cold. As always, the view was the best thing about the restaurant.

We try very hard to support this local business as it is one of the few "nice" places to eat near Marietta. Unfortunately, nearly every time we place a takeout order on the phone, the staff fail to communicate in some way. Once it was the phone left off the hook for over a half hour - when my partner arrived to pick up the order he was dismay to find out I couldn't get through to place it since he left our house - he had to tell them to hang their phone up! Another time it was taking our order then telling us when we arrived they were out of the items (instead of checking when we made the order). When you visit in person, the wait staff socialize at the register, ignoring the customers and gossiping about personal matters or have their faces buried in their phones. Perhaps I'm dating myself, but I was taught "time to lean- time to clean" and to always appear professional.We've received prosciutto macaroni and cheese with the plastic from the prosciutto container in our food during a dine in visit. The prices on pasta, potatoes, and other carb-based sides are inflated and don't reflect the quality of the food or the complexity of the preparation. We recommend this place for the takeout beer selection only - but be careful what they charge you - items are not always clearly marked.

Great selection of wines and cold beer, they have a quick chill cooler if you like your wines chilled. We tried a couple of their sushi rolls. We're very pleased with the quality. Looking forward to going back again. They're fresh oysters on the shell were excellent also.

We were dotted promptly. Our food came out as ordered. The Reuben, ahi tuna, and steak flat bread were all delicious. Highly recommend The House of Wines.

Really delicious food! Love the tuna nachos appetizer. Staff is friendly and I love that you can browse the shop before or during your meal!

Waitress took for ever. Will not go back . They have signs all over marietta saying House of Wine. I wined all the way to my car.

Have been to house of wines couple times. Prime rib night was excellent with generous size pieces of prime rib. All three ordered same this night and were all pleased. Went to specialty dinner with Oregon winery pouring wines from their vineyard while giving descriptions of each variety. Third visit was dinner with wife enjoyed our meal service has always been great and they have extensive wine selection. They have just finished remodeling project can't wait to go back and see the changes. Also in summer nice patios are to enjoy while watching Muskingum River flow by.

The outdoor seating is nice and shaded with a great view of the river. The food is so fresh and flavorful. I had the caprese salad, gazpacho soup and fresh bread and butter. Yum! 10 out of 10 recommend!
