We had a very nice meal here a while back when meeting up with friends for dinner. Service was pleasant and attentive as we settled in for the dining experience.My wife and I shared some bao buns and then I finished off a cup of hot-n-soup soup with just the right amount of tang and heat. Finished off the meal with a plate of chicken tonkatsu over rice with a side of mixed veggies. Really liked the zippiness of the dipping sauce for the chicken, helped elevate the flavor!Glad we came back here after so many years of absence. Would come again.

People saying this place has amazing fresh food must also be the same people who believe McDonalds only gives us organic grass fed beef for their burgers. See below to see how "fresh" their food really is.My wife and I used to be regulars here because we loved sitting by the windows enjoying a glass of wine with sushi. We've never been blown away by the food, we just liked the environment as we felt the food was no better than your traditional Chinese take out. But 2 recent experiences have left us never wanting to go back unless there's serious changes with ownership.The first issue we had this past 6 months was when we ordered a sushi roll with tempura shrimp. While we were eating it, we noticed a black spot in the shrimp. After performing my best operation skills, we found that most of the shrimp were not deveined. For those unaware of this fun little vein, it's the shrimp digestive tract. So when it's full, you're basically eating its poop-shooter. When we mentioned something to the owner, she apologized and said it's not the chefs fault, because they buy the shrimp already deep fried, and the place they get some of their food from, cant guarantee the fudge factories are out of the shrimp!!! (We still thinking fresh?) I would expect this from a hole in the wall place. But to claim to be "upscale" and charge so much for a roll, only for it to still be full from the feast of it's last meal, yikes..... The final straw for us was after we ate there on Christmas. We both ordered an app and an entree. She got the Peach Schnapps Chicken and I got the Sweet and Sour. The first thing that irritated me was it saying it came with veggies. The veggies was what maybe equaled 1 baby carrot and 3 small squares of a green pepper. We shared a little bit of each others and we both thought mine tasted off. Hers was ok. Nothing I'd brag about and I'd compare it to every other Chinese food place we've had. But what irritated us was the fact we paid almost $40 for these 2 mediocre entrees. The worst about this though was my wife became suddenly sick with chills later that night. Ultimately it led to her spending some time on the porcelain throne. I thought maybe it was just from too much crap food this Christmas time. But then the next morning, I woke up with chills and became sick where I was praying to porcelain gods for the next day and a half that my "Christmas Detox" would stop. So while we cant say for certain it was food poisoning, you know what they say, if it walks like a duck, quack likes a duck.... In all, while I don't expect Chef Ramsey to be preparing my meals there, if you're going to charge so much for your food, I'd at least have higher expectations and most importantly standards than what's offered here. Hopefully they turn things around. But we definitely wont be back for a long time.

Appreciated that they were open on Labor Day and didn't seem to mind our casual garb. (We were planning for pizza after disc golf...)1/2 price sushi rolls on Mondays - bonus!Lovely surroundings, including super clean bathroom.All 4 of us enjoyed our selections.Sauce on top of "On the Square" roll was a bit sweet; I probably didn't read the description fully.

I ordered takeout from House of Hunan and it's some of my favorite sushi I've had in a while! The OMG roll was so flavorful with the mango and sauces on it, the Nemo roll was very "umami" tasting with notes of sesame and soy, and the sweet potato roll was one of the best I've had (and I'm a big fan of sweet potato rolls!). My order was ready in 15 minutes and the service was good. My total ended up being $44 before tip, which felt expensive for takeout, but it was worth it for good quality food. I'd like to dine in next time!

We enjoy eating here!!! It's right on the square in Medina!!! Our food is always excellent! And of course, we love Dino!!!! He's the manager and he always takes good care of us!!! We love the spicy shrimp salad, the pot stickers, egg rolls and chicken wraps!!! Great appetizers!!! We also love the Peach Schnapps chicken with crunchy rice!!! Yummy!!! My date likes house Chou Fun noodles!!! One of my favorite places!!!!

Visited HoH again recently for dinner. I'm trying to work my way through the menu. We are always seated quickly and the service is fast and friendly. On this occasion, we requested the potstickers again because they're so good. For dinner, I requested the red curry bowl with shrimp and my wife requested pepper steak.Dinner took a while to prepare, but when it was delivered it was delicious. The red curry flavor in the shrimp bowl was very rich and I loved it. I would definitely order that again. My wife's pepper steak was one of the better ones we've had. She found it to be a tad too salty, but it was still good nonetheless.I'm glad we found these two yummy dishes because we can order them in the future and know we're getting a delicious meal.

Been to a lot of Asian restaurants in the bigger cities and this is comparable to them. Looks like there has been some talks about how service or food has gone down hill but it seems like they have improved drastically since they have come under new management. They have more servers and that was one of the biggest reasons why they came under fire - just like every restaurant around - there are not many people who want to work. I suggest be patient - servers are human too and are working as fast as they can and with not much appreciation. If anything maybe go on a weekday to get the complete attention you are looking for?Either way this restaurant is on our rotating list of places to dine in Medina.Atmosphere is relaxing and we love to sit in the front to be able to see the people who enjoy the park/square across the street.We have had plenty of different items at this restaurant...My bf loves the pad Thai .. it's ok to me as it does have a strong flavor to it but he gets it every time!I have tried the sauté green beans with tofu and pork and it has always come out delicious.Sushi rolls are good too!Bf son loves the peach schnapps chicken meal and he is a picky eaterSometimes I would suggest to always give a place a couple chances cause you never know as maybe they have different cooks who rotate in the back or same at the sushi counter.I'm just grateful to be able to have an option like this in town and not have to travel so far away for decent Chinese and some thai food.

I am puzzled by the low reviews which seem to be old. This place is amazing! So fresh. Great service. Clean. Expansive menu of both sushi and Asian food.XO sauce was delicious. The garden salad was the most impressive salad I've been served especially the price! Ambiance is great. Run don't walk here.
