Homefires Grill

Hello, my husband and I took a little summer evening ride to Newark and had dinner at the Homefires Grill. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service, the food, the beverages, and everything. I requested a drink off the menu, a Moscow Mule, and it was so good.It was relaxing, a good sound level for conversation, comfortable lighting, and clean. We asked to see the patio which is almost completed and the staff member welcomed us to have a look. It's really cool and we look forward to coming again. Glad to support stand alone, entrepreneurial businesses and have a good time too.

Homefires is a very inviting neighborhood grill, running a special on all 4 days they are open (Wed - Sat). The regular prices on the menu are as low as any bar and grill, yet the quality of the food is a cut above the rest!Also love the attention and excellent service given to the patrons. Excellent beer selections, and the bartender mixes some killer cocktails, too!

This is a great little place in Newark. Hamburger and French fries were special the night we went. Delicious, burger was great and we loved the fries!! They have a nice bar area and live music as well went on a Friday. Our server was so nice and attentive. Great place to try if you're in Newark!

Im absolutely addicted to the chorizo/beef house smashburger and hand cut fries, served with a smile by Gina. Casual, homie ambiance, great kitchen staff, simple menu with their own spin on traditional fare.

10 out of 10 would recommend! Folks, these wings.....mmmmmm. So. Freaking. Good!!! The way they make them so that they're extra crispy mmmmm! Best garlic parm wing we'd ever had! They're all so great, that was just my personal favorite! (Shout out to the Buffalo blue cheese)Wonderful service, Mike had a great personality. While we were there he was helpful and funny and awesome with kids. Owner Troy introduced himself and couldn't have been nicer! We WILL be back.
