This is a great place to live. The staff is excellent. Lauren the apartment manager was amazing she walked me through the whole process. She's friendly and compassionate. She answer's any of my questions. Moving can be very stressful. She took all the stress away and she made me feel right at home the first moment I walked in. There are a lot of places I could have chosen but, she made my choice in moving here feel like the best decision. I love living here its a beautiful community and they keep it looking very nice all the time. If I have a work order it's taken care of in a very quick manner. I would recommend Hilliard Park to anyone looking for a great place to live. I feel lucky to be here!!

I have lived in this community for over 3 years now and I have to disagree with some of the negative comments. Is the trash bad some days? Sure, however, it is always cleaned up almost instantly! Too often I see people who just sit their trash right outside the dumpster area instead of taking a few extra steps to use the dumpster as designed. I live right across from it and I see this almost every day, and every day I watch as the maintenance and even the management team have to go outside to pick up someone else's trash because of complete laziness. The office staff and maintenance have always been a pleasure to work with! I have seen them interact with people when I go into the office or while they are walking around people looking to move here and they always greet everyone with a smile and a wave. Any maintenance issues I have had has always been responded to in a prompt manner. Please dont let the negative comments deter you from moving here! This is a wonderful and friendly community. My children enjoy it here, me and my husband enjoy it here, my neighbors enjoy it here. It is a very convenient location and a quiet and clean community, what more could you ask for!!! A pool... I could ask for a pool... that would be the icing on a very nice cake.

If I could give a negative number of stars in this rating, I would. One star overall is too high for the despicable staff at Hilliard Park.Lived here for 3 years and never had any reason to contact the leasing office. I kept to myself and my neighbors were great. Safe place. Quiet. No issues.Preparing for move-out was my first time dealing with the staff and this is where the entire Hilliard Park experience went down hill. It took an overall, positive experience and turned it upside down to the point that I am posting negative online reviews. In my first conversation, I requested the carpet brand, shelf life, and company used - the manager refused to answer these questions and further, wasn't able to provide any explanation as to WHY she wouldn't provide these details. There are no legalities or company policies preventing the release of this information and the fact that she got so defensive over this information makes me feel like there is something shady going on. By the end of the conversation, I assumed I just caught her on a bad day because she was just flat out unreasonable. In my second conversation, I requested the paint brand and type. A very simple question. Information that is necessary in order to prime the walls before I move out, as outlined in the lease agreement. The leasing agent, while consulting with the manager, REFUSED TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS! This is where I lost my mind. What in the world is going on behind the scenes at Hilliard Park? Can't provide carpet information, can't provide paint information, can't provide any explanation whatsoever - what CAN they answer?I will not be surprised to receive a final account statement with charges for the most absurd things ever. I will, however, be prepared to dispute any bogus charges. Literally, the worst staff to ever exist. Rude. Unhelpful. Unfit to work in any customer service related field.

The apartment staff is awesome. The property manager is super sweet & always helpful. Great customer service, whenever I have a problem she is always on top of things, going the extra mile to make my experience here wonderful. More apartment managers should be like her.

WORST place you could ever move.My dog died due to them not fixing my A/C & she overheated. She was a pug & anyone familiar with that breed knows how easy it is for that to happen. They also knew that my car had been stolen (out of my driveway btw) so I had no way of getting my dog out & into A/C. I notified Lauren the office manager on a Thursday & followed up on a Friday about them coming to fix it. At that point she told me they would get to it asap "if they haven't already". They never came to fix it & when I f/u Monday she said she'd put the work order in. At this point I was wondering why she would have to put a work order in if she did that on Friday??? I also have a boxer so when they asked to enter on Monday I denied them as I was told they did not need to enter to fix A/C, had they told me otherwise I would have locked him up, but due to him being not being locked up I told them they would have to wait until I was home. They told me to check breaker which I did when I got home & it was flipped so I fixed it & A/C still didn't work. They told me if it didn't work they would come out & treat it as an emergency which did not happen and my dog died as a result. When Lauren called me she started the call by saying "I'm sorry to hear about your dog, but..." & then continued to explain all the reasons it wasn't their fault in order to save themselves because they knew it was overlooked. She continued to explain that my 85-90 degree apartment was not considered an emergency which is why they didn't fix it over weekend but had no explanation when I asked how that's not considered an emergency when they knew I had dogs, & when I asked what temperature it had to be to be considered an emergency, she had no response. I had even included a picture of my thermostat so they could see I was not exaggerating the temperature. This is not the only reason this place is awful, this was just the worst thing because I lost my baby girl due to their negligence. I also have to contact them every single month regarding my utility charges because up until this last month they continued to try and charge me "vacant service fees" acting like I didn't have electric set up and every month I have to send them my AEP bills to prove I've had active electricity because they try & charge me the price of my electric plus a fee for it. This month my issue is that even knowing they killed my dog & me explaining that they would obviously need to remove her from the rent they did not do so. Now I have to wait for them to fix my rent so I can pay it since they're still trying to charge me for both dogs & did not credit me for last month for my pug because she died on July 4th, in addition to some other issues as well. They also came in to replace my blinds & charged me $25 per blind (my dog got excited & tore the ones in my room up & I haven't been able to find a way to the store to get new ones) & apparently notified me however I never received notice. I have told them before that I have had issues with the neighborhood kids ding dong ditching me, taunting my dogs, etc. & when I expressed concern over the fact that maybe they removed it from my door she did not care or seem to believe me. She also stated they notified me the day before for 24 hrs notice to enter & they did not. The maintenance man also let my boxer out of the basement but "couldn't remember what he needed to check down there". First off I warned them my dog could possibly be aggressive to people he views as intruders & they have no way of knowing why I keep him locked up or if he's a destructive dog. Luckily he is not but sometimes has accidents which is why he is keep in my basement while I work, but the maintenance man let him out & did not put him back so I got to come home to accidents due to his negligence. I cannot believe that he wouldn't have put him back especially after he told me how good & nice he was, so it would have been easy for him to put him back downstairs. He also continued to explain that my dog "appreciated the company and followed him around for AWHILE while he was there". He had to replace two blinds...if he wasn't there doing other things that I wasn't made aware of, then how would he have time to allow my dog to follow him around? Makes me worried what all he did in my house & in my room where the blinds were replaced. I have also had to have them come out 3 times now to fix slats on my blinds for my back door because when I open the blinds the slats break off because the track is messed up. I explained to Lauren multiple times that its an issue with the track & that the entire unit needed replaced otherwise they would have to continue to come out to replace individual slats. She didn't listen & they continue to break off. All in all save your money. The apartments are beautiful and I would love to renew my lease but I will NOT because of the HORRIBLE office manager. I've never had an issue at any other apartment but this woman is the worst.
