I have paid monthly rental fee by automatic payment with their website and never missed. In April 2021, they maintained their website and my Automatic payment has deleted. In May I didn't realize it until May 4th and I paid on 5/4. Then They imposed Late fee of $180.I claimed apartment manager and she said we sent email notification so that it is your fault. Delete my Auto Pay and impose Late fee!Is this fair?

I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but this one is coming after about a dozen attempts to contact the leasing office and corporate. My deposit refund is overdue by almost three weeks and I can't get anyone that's willing to help me on their end. The funny thing is, if I were late on rent, I would get a large fee and eventually evicted. Apparently when they're the ones in breach of contract it's no biggie. Frustrated to say the least, and I really didn't want to have to resort to this but I literally have tried everything.

Thank you Hilliard Grand for being a beautiful, clean and safe apartment complex to live in! The office staff is AMAZING. They are genuinely kind and helpful whenever you contact them. Charity helped me pick the perfect apartment and I wish I had moved here sooner. Even, the maintenance guys always wave and say hi. All my neighbors are friendly and coming from LA, it's a diverse group of people which I was pleased to see. There are convenient dog stations everywhere and they are always stocked with bags. The pool is kept exceptionally clean and has a lot of chairs which is helpful to always have a spot to sit on those perfect sunny days! There is big pond, trails to bike and walk and a convenient business office. The apartment pricing is extremely fair and the apartments are huge with well thought out living spaces. I have a 2 bedroom and I love it! I could literally do a cartwheel in my walk in closet. I would definitely recommend living here!

Typically, I move once a year because I like to explore new areas and one of my jobs allow me to do that. When it comes to this area, I have lived here before but just down the road at The Farms. This complex however, is AMAZING! Literally has been my favorite place I have ever lived. The apartments are not only incredibly spacious but you pay a very fair price for that space. The office is one of the best parts... so incredibly friendly and helpful, always positive. I've never had any issue/question go unanswered with an unsatisfactory result. I LOVE Jessica and Charity! Honestly, I have been contemplating if I even want to move... if it wasn't for wanting to buy a house, I probably never would leave. The pool is nicely sized with very comfortable modern seating.... grill area that is shared and nicely cleaned. Dog waste posts everywhere. My favorite amenities: a community garden... and business office... like amazing!! Thank you Hilliard Grand for an amazing first year!

Do not rent here, leasing agents are non responsive and genuinely seam to not care about your concerns. We had an issue with a grown man threatening our 6 year old daughter for being on his "property" at an apartment complex so we went to the leasing office and filed a complaint and come to find out the creep wasn't on and hasn't been on the lease. Should have called the police. They over charge for a fake trash service, 50$ a month for some dudes to pick up your trash in a pickup truck and take it down to the dumpster, which is constantly broke down and trash bags pile up. We just paid the 50$ and took it ourselves because the gave us a tiny kitchen trash can and the jerks ripped a bag and left trash all over our porch. Needless to say we didn't re sign our lease and moved out over a month ago. Did everything by the book and they didn't switch the power out of our name so we are continuing to be charged for a unit we no longer live in. They sent our deposit in a check to the address we moved from after we email all the information to electronically transfer the money, we feelLike we are being messed with. Multiple e mails with no response. We've reached out to cooperate with no response. So yea good luck renting with these folks.

A WARNING!!!I have lived in Hilliard Grand since April 2018. For the last 1.5 years property went way downhill.Managers and Leasing agents changed so many times that it was hard to know who to contact to get things done. When I needed to extend my lease, I sent my request through email I received no reply, I tried to call - no answers. I Tried to stop by the office a few times (during the office hours) and I had no luck. Office doors were closed while the office staff were inside, and no one answered the door. Corporate calls did not help to fix the office staff issue. This issue with extending my lease was resolved only after I contacted the regional manager. In addition, they did not give me my full deposit back once I moved out.When I called to find out what the charge was, the leasing agent said that I didn't return the keys on time.Current manager charged me for as she claims "late keys drop off".The Keys were dropped off into the dropbox on time - Monday May 31, 2021 - Memorial Day (office was closed). I Tried to call them the next day, June 1st, to make sure they got the keys and again no one answered the phone. And somehow on June 1st, they managed to misplace the keys and charged me for one day. The manager or leasing agents didn't contact me or return my calls during the office hours. Instead, the manager decided to contact me via email after office hours around 8:47 pm.I Tried to contact the regional manager regarding this issue, but, apparently, after you become a former resident they don't even listen to you and do not even respond.

Current Resident. Really didn't want to have to write this review, but sleep deprivation is a powerful beast. From about 6pm to 8am theres an hvac unit (not mine) right outside my apartment that makes this very loud buzzing sound every minute on the dot. Video below. I've told management about this 3 times, through email, on the phone, and in person. They are not fixing it, it's the only unit that does this. I lived here for 7 months ( May - Dec 2016) This place is a shell, sounds like a good gig, looks like a nice place until problems started.The common areas and green spaces are cover in dog feces, I had a dog and even my dog was sick of it, my kid had to jump tip toes to skip all the ---- literally (lack of maintenance and manager supervision). Also we had a roach infestation due to next door neighbors for a month and we had to packed all our stuff 3 times, we requested 4 light bulbs to be change on October and they never replaced the bulbs even we called 4 times and send emails ( again Charity Jacobs and Kyllie Doughterty property managers never did anything about it) couple of times I noticed when I stopped at the main office that when people call in to report issues on their apartments they put them on speaker and silence and laugh about their complaints. Completely lack of professionalism , I mean these are kids put in charge of managing a fairly large amount of apartments and dealing with people, they are great to argue but no so great at solving peoples issues. Good things the apartments had was the pool and the cozy fire pit (that's about all). Also the pricing system is a mystery my next door neighbors and I didnt pay the same amount of money for the same layout apartment we do understand that we just lease for 7 months but they were paying more for a year contract (makes no sense) . The worst part is that after pass all the pain of the high bills on energy and water , the feces, terrible administration services we were finally out and ready for our new build and just to put the cherry on the top .. boom we received a letter from them letting us know that our deposit money will not going to be return because they had to clean the carpet, are they serious ?? wife and I spent 1 hour cleaning the apartment and took photos of it so we don't have this problem and we can get our money back so we call back and again very unprofessionally Charity Jacobs and Kylie D. both got me on a speaker and yelled at me over the phone when I told me this was absurd they don't want to give me my deposit back and its their responsibility to clean again before the new tenant on top of what we did (its just the right thing to do) they told me they don't clean before a new tenant unless things don't look great. I never got my deposit back. That's my story please do research before you lease even if is temporary.
