High Bank Distillery

What a cool place...Our first time on and i was very impressed. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The decor gives off a clean upscale vibe which i really like. The waitress was spot on with the service. The food was delicious. I had their their brunch wrap supreme with fries which was very good. Wifie had the omelets with greens which she seemed to really enjoy. The hot chicken and baskets looked awesome. This was a great experience and another great place to eat in downtown Westerville.

This place was quite busy when I went around 9-pm on Saturday night. It only took about 15 minutes after I ordered to get my food. Service staff seem to be quick, efficient, and attentive. I ordered the high bank deluxe burger which has a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles, and American cheese on a brioche bun. I paid a dollar more to get a fried egg. They put their "secret sauce" on the burger as well. The beef patty was cooked to the my preferred temperature medium rare to medium. It wasn't that impressive on the seasoning side of things, just tasted like they probably just used salt and pepper. The secret sauce is disappointing. It's just sweet and doesn't add any depth of flavor to the burger. It's very much a middle of the road, average burger. Nothing to write home about.I did try a bite of my friend's vegetarian version of the high bank deluxe burger. This was actually very disappointing. Too salty and the ratio of seasonings was off. They also undercooked it which gave the black bean patty a weird texture. I would not recommend this. I also got a side of their house Mac and cheese which I quite enjoyed. The cheese sauce was silky, had a good consistency and the cavatappi pasta was cooked nicely. I also got fries with the burger. It's a steak fry, so each fry is a bit thicker but somehow still nice and crispy. They seemed well seasoned and tasted pretty good with ketchup and the cheese sauce in the Mac and cheese. They will give you their fry sauce which is again quite disappointing. 5 out of 5 for service. 3 out of 5 for food4 out of 5 for ambiance

I came in for a late lunch on a weekday. I was the only one there. I did get great service. The place was nice, but I'd like to see it with more people to get a better feel for what it feels like at a normal time to eat there. The grilled cheese and fries were good (vegetarian here), no drink on this visit. The sandwich was pricey for it's size. I was surprised at how bright it was in there, in terms of decor. I assumed they would have kept more of the old wood from the former post office. I thought it could've had more classic character, but they modernized it for the most part.I will return for dinner with my wife. She enjoyed it when she went with friends and I'm confident I'll find more to enjoy on the menu.

What a cool place! Very nice ambiance and interior design. I really enjoyed the brunch. Highly recommend the potato hash - perfect combination of chorizo, potatoes and poached eggs on arugula. The spicy aioli sauce was delish. Would definitely recommend. Lovely place, the only reason for me to deduct one star was that the service wasn't great. Very nice and all, just very slow. With a little service improvements this would easily be a 5 star restaurant experience.

Great location and being inside of an old post office building makes it even cool. I suggest you make a reservation. We went for lunch and we did have a reservation. The place was really busy for lunch on a weekday so I can only imagine how it would be on weeknights or weekends. The place was nice and clean and a little smaller than the other locations. They also have a small patio on the side of the building. As per food, we ordered Brussel sprouts, High Bank deluxe burger and spicy chicken. For the beverage, I ordered Orange you Glad. Everything was delicious. I really can't complain about any of the dishes we ordered. The service however, lacked a little. We had to flag our server few times to place our order and request for the check. Overall, the food was great and I will be visiting this place again.

Stopped in for drinks and apps after seeing positive reviews. Loved the ambience and our server was great. He was very welcoming and had lots of personality. Oh..also we made our reservation at the wrong location. But called ahead and they were kind enough to accommodate us. So kudos to the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. We ordered the apple whiskey fizz cocktail which I fully expected to be a warm cocktail, perfect for the cold night. But I was surprised to learn it's an iced cocktail. Almost like a whiskey punch. They really should say that on the menu. Maybe that's what "fizz" implied? I'm not a big drinker so maybe others would know that. We were light eaters. I had a slightly spicy meatball dish. It was a bit salty but very good. I ate half and had the rest for breakfast with eggs. My brother had soup. So I can't really comment on the food. I enjoyed my visit but suggest you ask for details on the cocktails.

This is my new favorite place in downtown Westerville! The inside is absolutely stunning and the bathrooms were just as gorgeous! We ordered 3 different appetizers that were all above and beyond amazing. Each item was unique, upscale, and full of flavor. The sever was extremely knowledgeable on the menu and helpful with my chicken sandwich order. This portion size was so large I had to get a box. The soup was amazing as a side and could be a perfect dish on its own. I can't wait to go back!

Love the new location! It is in the building that used to be the post office We sat inside, but there is outside seating as well. We had reservations which I would recommend as it was busy on a Tuesday evening. It is also seems smaller inside than the other locations. Service was great and the food and drinks were good. Can't go wrong with the smoked old fashioned!The speakeasy isn't open yet but is supposed to be in late October. Parking can be a bit tricky as the parking lot is small. There is free public parking across the street. I would give yourself some extra time to find parking.

Located in beautiful downtown Westerville, the High Bank Distillery building is over 100 years old and was recently renovated from the old post office building to open its doors in August 2024. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the view to the busy street. Shannon the bartender was super nice and helpful. She recommended the tomato soup and the Spicy Chicken sandwich. Both items I got were absolutely stunning. The flavor of the chicken sandwich was spicy but not overwhelming. It was juicy in the middle and crispy on the outside. Tomato soup had a nice mixture in flavor and textures. It had bread crumbs, basil and a parmigiana cheese topping. The high quality ingredients stood out and allowed for an amazing dine in experience! If you haven't been, check this place out!

I have been waiting for this to open for so long! It's a super cool building and it was worth the wait! They had a great design and it was such a light and bright space. My husband and I went with our baby at/just before the lunch rush today and it wasn't terribly busy. Our waitress was the friendliest person I've probably ever encountered in foods service and although it took a little long to get our main dishes she was so friendly and attentive I didn't mind it. Now what you're waiting for... the FOOD. We started with the crispy Brussel sprouts and omg were the good!!!! They had a sweet chili sauce and sweet potato shoe strings that were to die for. I was trying to figure out if I could replicate the recipe because it was so so good! Let me say, this pic does not do the size of the salad justice. I rarely think a salad is worth $14 big this salad was so big and was just PILED with cheese and Tortilla Strips. The dressing was great and I'm sure that if you add protein it'd stuff your belly full through to your next meal. My husband got the broccolini grilled cheese which of course I had to try and it had some heat and is NOT your mama's grilled cheese with the added pesto. Also, the fries were SOOOO good.
