Hibernia Apartments

The apartment were nice and roomy, plenty of space without feeling cramped. Staff was very polite and professional and great to work with. Could use more parking, but it is a big complex with lots of people living there.

This place should honestly receive zero stars. The WORST place I've ever lived. I decided to live here as they offer a 6-month lease term for a premium of $50/month. After being told I could move in on a specific date, they found my scheduled unit had fleas and moved me to a new unit where A LOT of maintenance was required. The toilet was brown and unusable, the shower was yellowing, and cupboards and drawers still had possessions of the previous tenant. These were thankfully fixed within a few days, however I never should have been moved into that apartment. Fast forward 2 months when the tenants receive a notice about parking lot restructuring and told if there car was not moved from their designated parking spot, they would be towed. The restructuring did not happen on the originally specified dates, but a second notice after the original dates was issued for new dates. During this time, the complex did not provide additional parking, but just told residents to make do. During 2 days of this week, they created a hazardous driving alley where there was only one lane for drivers to drive both in and out of the complex, leading to a high likelihood of crashing. A few weeks later residents got a notice stating that their units would be renovated the following week and they had to remove ALL ITEMS from their kitchens and bathrooms. The notice even stated that it was better for residents not to be in their units. For some reason management decided these renovations needed to be completed in the middle of residents lease terms instead of between leases. The equipment in each unit is fairly low quality and breaks easily, however maintenance can take weeks or even up to a month to respond to these issues. Overall, DO NOT LIVE HERE! The customer service is atrocious, the staff is unfriendly and unhelpful, and you may be forced into some nearly unlivable conditions!

Really great place. Well constructed, I never hear another neighbor, and I don't look out on another apartment. Very clean when I moved in. Needed a toilet flange and they came within a day to fix it. Been here a year now. I have a fireplace, lots of closets. Can't say enough about living here. I question the negative reviews; there's always parking available in all the areas, and the units are recarpeted and repainted between tenants, as I've seen the work they do on other units around me. Mine was pristine when I moved in. The rooms are large and the livingroom is big. Really love the place. Visit before you believe the negative reviews.

Roaches, apartments flood, poor cleaning. We moved in to an in less then a week we saw roaches and our apartment flooded. Water damage to ceilings, made no effort to really fix cosmetics around the unit. Wasp nest on patio. Horrible parking. And caught someone in the office in a lie. Dog poop everywhere , no poop scoop signage. Breaking our lease.

I really enjoy living at Hibernia Apartments. The apartments are very roomy and perfect sized for myself and my husband. The property manager and the staff are always so nice and helpful. The building engineers are very quick to assist any work orders that I have placed. I highly recommend this apartment community!

These apartments have really done down hill. They have been taken over my 3 different management companies, all of which are out of the state. Maintenance is not completed appropriately. Everything is a mess. There is not sufficient lighting in the complex and trash everywhere is a huge concern. I have lived here 5 years and will not be renewing my lease. Use caution if thinking of renting here. Inside of apartments are all outdated and like I said, maintenance is not a priority whatsoever. Seriously wish they would chose a local company like they had when i first signed my lease. Having these out of state owners allows absolute neglect of the complex and overall safety of residents. The complex has so many burnt out lights and they will not fix them no matter how many times you complain.

Worse move in experience imaginable. Was told the apartment would be ready on a certain day and time. Went to move in and there were people still working on our apartment. Never received a call or anything. Left multiple message with Victoria and the office with no return call until multiple calls later. Had to wait 3+ hours until it was ready and was told we couldn't move in until the next day due to it not being ready. Mind you we had all of our stuff in our cars ready to go. The next day came and the apartment was better than previous day ( they painted some, cleaned some etc..still smells like prev owner smoked) But did not have everything done that they said would be done to our apartment. Scheduled for painters to come back in and finish ( very inconvenient) but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Painters never came and now the office isn't answering their phone to us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Atleast if you decide to move here push for a walk thru of your apartment to make sure it's ready no matter how many times THEY tell you No and promise you that your apartment will be exactly what they said it would be.

currently living here. it's only been almost 3 months and every day had been one BS thing after another. they are IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of in the office. no one ever answers the phone and they never return voicemails unless you KEEP blowing up the line or walk up to the office and chew someone out. when i first moved, move in time was late and no one even told us until we already got there to get the keys and were turned away, my unit was a MESS, previous UNSANITARY items and medicines left behind by previous tenants, my back door didnt lock at all, the cleaning crew was ATROCIOUS. they left comet powder all in my shower, shower curtain rod was just broken and laying on the ground, blinds were broken,washer and dryer BOTH didn't work (which meant i couldn't even do my laundry for a month and some change until i could get a hold of them and FORCE them to replace it), and the cherry on top you say? well the vent that leads outside from the dryer was just a GAPING hole leading into my apartment, which means when it gets cold, the rodents are going to find it and come in. low and behold, THEY DID!! MICE. i had to call the office for TWO MONTHS straight, threaten escrow three times, and write up a statement saying they have 30 days to fix it or i will be putting my rent in escrow before i could even get someone to come out here and cover it up with some type of vent cover so it wasn't just an open hole into my home. then come to find out. the spaces on the cheap vent were too big. so mice can STILL get in. yesterday i came home to my cat playing with a mouse... gross. i called, no answer. left a voicemail requesting pest control be contacted, since they never came back after the first time they were here to check the traps. i also requested maintenance change the vent over the hole bc the holes are way too big. no response. my rent is almost a thousand dollars and i pay for nothing but BS and to live with mice. on my move in day when i went up to the office after discovering the unit that they spent all day 'cleaning' was still literally trashed... LEVIA HERSELF told us that she didn't know why VICTORIA would even move us in that unit bc it was absolutely 'HIT' by the last tenants. VERBATIM. don't move here unless you wanna pay a thousand dollars for no reason when you could find somewhere better, with less stress, and less expensive. not to mention if you get off of work any time after 5 pm be prepared to walk bc there are no parking spots due to people parking here who do not live here... also if you have work early in the morning, sleep with headphones in bc the walls are paper thin and no one cares about what hour of the night they are bumping music lol. management is BY FAR the worst part about living here. i can literally drive past the office and see everyone's car parked right in front but they just let the phone ring when you call...

Worst apartment ever. Poor insulation, psychotic neighbors, snobby staff who will lie to you and then refuse to do their job. Maintenance is terrible, so is parking.I can't say enough bad things about this hell hole.
