I was a former employee and I have plenty to say about the environment and experiences I dealt with, but I will try to keep it short. I'll start off with the good I see in the store. All of my coworkers(consultants, ringers, seamstresses,assistants) are absolutely fabulous. They gave me great energy everyday and showed up even at their lowest and gave customers a great experience too. I think that's more because who would complain about working at a dress store and selling dresses and having fun. I even enjoyed my job as the receptionist being the face of the company and seeing ladies come in excited and leaving relieved and confident after feeling flattered with then selves. I also got to wear outfits I enjoyed, but that was just the good in it. Now let's get to where it all went down hill. The management is truly pitiful. The only good managers there are chloe(prom) and lizzy(pageant). I'll start with prom, "man" the general manager can be good with the books but not with the girls that go there to shop at for prom. He goes around interrupting consultants and their girls and gives them dresses that are out of their budget and color theme and also will pull unflattering things for them and I've seen some of them leave out of irritation. Mind you I was the receptionist and had many come to me about the poor service that he would provide making them feel unwanted and uncomfortable. I've even had girls say that as they are trying on dresses they'd look up to "him" making eye contact with them through the dressing rooms curtains(while they are naked) He just really has no idea of space and fashion. He's more focused on the sale and money. I would even try to say good morning as I was setting up and he would just look at me like he's looking at a wall. Next is the new general manager. She has much attitude and doesn't seem to know she projects that and I had many parents come to me about that. I've even had personal stuff happening and she would be rude to me for doing my job AND MORE. She just doesn't give off a grateful and appreciative energy and kind of just stands around menacingly through out the store. Then ceo, the owner. THIS IS FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SPECIAL ORDER DRESSES, in particular, bridal. She never wants to be the face of the company which I was surprised because if I was an owner I would love for many to know my name and my face and be personal with the customers, but then I found out through word around the store why she hides in her tiny office. She is supposedly in debt(which is a hear say) So this means if you want to order anything online it will take you awhile to have that dress in your hands. Brides who ordered dresses in July would supposed to get them in December and the dresses wouldn't even be ordered yet or sent to the store due to money issues(supposedly) I would get calls after calls about ETA statuses and wouldn't be able to give that information due to the lack of communication with ( the head of warehouse production) and being so behind on money and ordering. It's just super slow in general at henris. They ofc have pretty dresses and all you just need patience and awareness of the energy that will be given on busy weekends. I will miss my coworkers but I will not miss the management that are so full of themselves.

Although they have a beautiful venue full of gorgeous dresses, I will not return to this business nor will I recommend it to others after a recent experience. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this summer, and was invited to an appointment to try on two specific styles of bridesmaid dresses that the bride was considering purchasing from Henri's, and getting them altered there. When we arrived we were treated as if we weren't allowed to try them on, and made the bride feel very uncomfortable. She told us "we don't service customers that aren't ordering from Henris"... which we were. The bride had set all of this up in advanced and called of make sure they had the samples to try on. She hardly assisted us once we were back in the fitting rooms, didn't make small talk or even talk to the bride about her wedding or seem interested in facilitating a sale with our party. She admitted that she didn't even know who the bride was. It was SO bizarre. I would be surprised if the bride decides to order the gowns through Henris after they experience. I NEVER post one star reviews but this experience was embarrassing and the staff should be ashamed of how they treated my friend and her party as they prepared for the big day.

Bridal Review: go somewhere else. I paid $150 to book a suite to shop for a wedding dress for my niece. We were booked from 1 to 2:30 pm. We showed up around 10 minutes early, checked in, and waited in the lobby until 1:15 to be taken to our suite. My niece tried on 6 dresses total, not many. At around 2:15 pm we were reminded that we had to be out of the suite by 2:30 pm. So they did not flex our time to account for the late rooming. This was very upsetting and quite rude. (Just in case you are wondering whether the bridal section was busy, it was not. There were several empty suites.) All in all, the service was subpar (not friendly, or hospitable), the dress selection was slim, and the condition of the dresses was poor (torn/holes, stained fabric, hair stuck to the gowns - ick). The tiles on the floor of the bridal suites were cracked, the rooms could use a paint job, decor update, and a thorough clean job. Finally, just in case you were wondering, no, the $150 paid to shop there does NOT go towards the cost of the dress if/when you purchase. Do not spend your precious time, memories and money at this place. Go somewhere else.

Absolutely terrible experience. We drove 1 1/2 hour to try on dresses. My daughter found one she fell in love with. Of course ir was pricey and beading was falling off. Columbus store said they could fix the dress and have it mailed to us directly. I have called 6 times now over the course of 5 weeks and no one can tell me where the dress is. Columbus says it was sent to Minerva, Minerva says Columbus has it. Columbus store manager Holly has not returned my calls. We are absolutely devastated and sick about this. My daughter because she loved the dress and me because I spent $700 for a dress we don't have. Order # c240650

Service is poor. Pushy and disrespectful. There policies are horrendous. They sent the wrong size and wouldn't fix their error. Most of the dresses have rips and are well worn.

Worst customer service you'll ever have. My consultant told me I could lose all the weight I wanted and my wedding dress could still be tailored. Everything they told me was a lie and they were only interested in making a sale. Holly and Anthony didn't care about a single thing I had to say or the money I was out. They didn't even apologize about the consultant lying. Holly was very unprofessional and Henris was unprofessional from start to finish not to mention the hour we had to wait for our scheduled appointment. I'd recommend anywhere but here! RUN!

I highly recommend going anywhere but here for your prom dress or any dress. My daughter bought her prom dress here for just under 700$. I was expecting to see a beautiful dress on my gorgeous daughter but what I saw was almost unbelievable. This dress was is terrible condition. It had a hole in the back right below the zipper. It's has big patches of sequins missing and God only know how many people had tried this dress on before she bought it. I wouldn't even say it was in mid condition. Now I know you're going to ask yourself how didn't my daughter notice this. Well number one the place is very dimly lit and the dresssing rooms are small and dirty. She felt very rushed and very pressured to make a decision and she's 18 years old. I have so much more to say but it makes me so mad I'm just going to leave it at that. They are selling off the rack, tattered, dirty dresses for full price to young girls with high pressure tactics. This place sucks. Their dresses are beat, and once the dress leaves the store you are not able to return it. No returns. What kind of business doesn't alllow returns. Oh, one that sells items that they know are damaged. Do yourself and your bank account a favor and go anywhere else. I would give zero stars if I could

The people at the front desk were not very professional, talking about how they shouldn't have to accommodate online appointments if they aren't put on the books and how a different client was running X amount of time late. The saving grace for this store was the consultant that I got. Her name was Courtney and she was absolutely fabulous, she listened to my likes and dislikes, pulled a couple dresses that she thought would fit what I was looking for, and made the atmosphere very relaxing for an important decision. She has wonderful instincts and the first dress she pulled was the one I went with. Thank you Courtney for making my day the best it could be!
