Hellbranch Hard Cider

A sweet little secret tucked into a back corner of the neighborhood where I grew up and where my mom still lives. I walked here from her house! I wouldn't exactly say that I am a cider connoisseur but I know what I like and what I don't like.I live in New York City which is a cider hub and I lived in Michigan and Chicago, where ciders are also popular. Not so much in Ohio so it was a joy to find this gem.To my surprise, the sun tea is my absolute favorite. I don't generally like black teas, which is the base for this one so at first I didn't try it until James the owner and cider maker described it to me. I was sold. I love it!I tend to like drier ciders. So if you're like me, try the mojito. But even the fruity ciders are not extra sweet like the ones you buy off the shelves. Even better, you can actually taste the fruit! Looking forward to coming back soon!

First- I love ciders. I also love checking out local breweries, restaurants and cidreries, of which cbus only has a couple. I had hellbranch cider one other time and it's been on my list to check out for awhile, and I finally made it last night. It's tucked away in a warehouse area, but the inside is small and quaint. It was just me there for a while until my family showed up, and James and I talked quite a bit about ciders and his craft- he definitely is passionate about it. I got a flight so I could try a few of them. He had a apple pear cider which is more dry, but also flavors like strawberry lime, sangria, hibiscus- all of them were great! There are 8 on tap, and a few other options available in bottles for purchase. Service was exceptional, because james loves what he does and it shows. We had a great time there, and I'll definitely be back.

Delicious ciders. Nice owner. Got the full flight - they have VARIETY - personally, big fan of the tea mixed ciders, but they're all delicious. In the area? Come and check them out - limited weekend hours, but they're hitting events soon!

It's quite refreshing to find not a few but 8 different flavors of hard cider less than 15 minutes from my house. It's set in an industrial complex but don't let that put you off. Inside is intimate and you'll likely stay there for an hour or 3: the staff and ciders are just that good. Fingers crossed they get hoodies added to their merch!

Came here on a whim and absolutely loved it. The ciders are delicious and Patrick and Ashley were fantastic behind the bar. The locals were incredibly welcoming and the atmosphere inside was cozy and warm. We left we three four packs and really look forward to coming back.

The best local cider I've tried here in Columbus, Oh! The atmosphere is very intimate the place can probably accommodate a sold party of 15! I would love to see the local ciders spots come together and give us a tap house/ bar/ kitchen and give these brewery's a run for it!
