From the counter, you can see into the kitchen.
First floor diner.
Grim. This is the "avocado" which was actually smeared into my bun. I'd sooner eat broken glass.
Plastic accepted, but no military discount. EVERY check gets a 5% surcharge. See my tip.
New menu reflects the new prices. Cash register does not. That's the 5% surcharge. November 2017.
Yes Yelp, there is bicycle parking.
Tea selections. No Earl Grey for my sweetie. #UpCloseSavor

We are back in the area and had the opportunity to stop at Hellas again for breakfast. We sat at the counter, which we always enjoy doing. We were promptly greeted by the servers, and the follow up was impeccable during our visit. I order the trio omelette that comes with toast. There is so much food to eat that I did not order hashbrowns to go with it. The restaurant is quaint, and just enough seating. The owner and the servers are always about talking to folks, no matter if you are a regular or a visitor.

I've not visited Hellas in a while. I was looking for something different than my usual places for eating out for breakfast. The same family members cook and wait on patrons here. Its a casual family owned Greek diner that focuses on breakfast. It's an old fashioned diner with wobbly tables with old aluminum diner chairs. Quaint atmosphere. They have a popular local following of neighbors and families and are often quite busy. Unless the staff know you, they can be a bit abrupt. For example, when our food came out of the kitchen, the cook stated the dishes and literally dropped them on the table. The diner is often quite popular and busy. Their limited staff are hustling to respond to everyone, appear overworked and thus stressed.Prices are reasonable, but the menu is pretty much a la carte. I ordered their vegetable omelet which comes with wheat toast. They don't offer a selection of different toasts, just wheat. Omelets are made with four eggs. So, they are a good size. My vegetable omelet was stuffed with vegetables and cheese, but was rather well done. The home fries were not evenly cooked. They were either really soggy or burnt. I didn't finish my breakfast. When I go out to eat, I'm looking for a pleasant and relaxing dining experience. There are hand made political signs posted on the walls One sign provides notice that prices increased March 2024 and it promptly directs the reader to contact the While House with any complaints. If these signs where not there, I wouldn't have noticed their minor price increases. Another hand made sign also advises the reader that they will now add a $2 surcharge to any meals paid by card. They have always preferred cash payments here. They do have a handful of outdoor picnic tables and a roof that can be used for outdoor seating when the weather is nice.I think I'll stick with usual local breakfast restaurants. My usual restaurants are at least consistent in their food and their environments are non-political and welcoming.

We have been coming here for breakfast over the years and are never disappointed. It's a local hangout but all are welcome. At this visit I ordered the spanakopita . Delicious and more than enough for two meals. Omelets are big. Potatoes are good but extra.

Hellas is a local place we have enjoyed for years. It's close, inviting, and friendly with a strong local flair. Their breakfast items have always been good and the variety is good. Something on the Specials board has always caught my eye and this Sunday afternoon brunch was no exception. What was exceptional is the intense and exotic combination in my omelet. Best I've ever had, which is saying a lot both for me and for Hellas. I've had my share of omelets over the years and we've eaten brunch at Hellas maybe a dozen times in the 20ish years we've lived in Dublin. It's always good, but this was amazing. The Specials board called it #4 and the ingredients were listed as roasted red peppers, bacon, mushrooms, capers, spinach, mozzarella, and avocado salsa. What a combination. Wish I could have eaten two of them! Thank you, Hellas.

Cranberry nut muffin cut in half and fried. Fried roasted omelet with bacon, mushrooms, spinach, red peppers, capers, and avocado sauce. The best ever fried potato I have ever had. Fresh squeezed orange juice. Owned by 3 Greek brothers in their 80s. This is a must stop to enjoy great food.

Everything here rocks! Had the special which was a nice thick cut steak with three beautifully fried eggs that couldn't have been cooked any better. Will be back again, and again, and again.

Best place for breakfast and lunch. The one star reviews are from snowflakes that have never run a business! Keep doing you Hellas!

Their cute little sign about "Due to inflation we have added a new surcharge, any complaints send to the White House" tells me everything I need to know. I have to say, I do love it when places openly advertise exactly why I shouldn't spend any money there. So bravo for doing that right!

Had egg shells in my omelette. Omelette not bright yellow but dingy and greasy for my taste. Showed them the eggshells. Didn't insist on making right. Didn't finish my meal. I didn't feel like there are any options for the healthy conscience. Everyone raves about the unhealthy options however. I'll stick with First Watch.

Hella-Terrific!Now THIS is a breakfast place! I had the most authentic ingredient filled omelette ever. I normally avoid omelettes in general due to the tendency to skimp at most restaurants. Not here!Perfectly cooked, not dripping in oil, real Sonia h and veggies, hot and filling. Don't get me started in their breakfast potatoes--- pure gold! I think the Greek owner cooked for Zeus because this b-fast was fit fit the gods. At $14 out the door with toast and constantly filled coffee makes this my favorite Ohio restaurant.
