Tucked away between Mellow Mushroom and Hudson 29 restaurant is the Hayley Gallery of New Albany. What a beautiful display of a variety of works. This gallery showcases local artists from the Ohio area. Their collection is menagerie of talent. When you first walk in the set up is very stylish with each artists work separated with different sections. So beautifully coordinated. Here at Hayley Gallery you will find a variety of such displays to include but not limited to paintings. Sculptures, wood,such innovative jewelry just to name a few. They have monthly wine tastings with debut of a new artist along with other exciting activities. They are constantly introducing new Ohio talent. One thing that really sets this gallery apart from other ones is that they have a 72 hour guarantee on their art. You can take the piece home and see if it goes with your decor. If you are not satisfied you are free to return it. It is a really fun and admirable way to start your home art collection. Unfortunately, most of the wonderful works are a bit out of my price range but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the remarkable art from our talented community. Make sure to stop in and enjoy the variety of activities and new artists that they have to offer.

Who knew the best art gallery would exist outside of a big city like New York or LA and instead be right in Ohio? This place is incredible. With everything from paintings to sculptures to blown glass and jewelry, there is something for everyone here. The owner and staff is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Plus, the store pooch is as cute as it gets.

No reviews yet? Okay, I'll go first. I stopped in after eating next door and seeing some of the art on the restaurant walls. This is a nice little gallery with a lot of local art, from jewelry and small glass items to paintings and sculptures. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the house dog, though a bit shy, was friendly enough. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Parking is a bit odd if you don't know the area. There are a few spaces out front, and a big lot in back. Turn in at the bank, or if you're coming from the highway turn at the second street on the right, then make a quick left into the lot.

I love stopping by this gallery as its selection is ever changing and always a splendor for the senses. What a treasure this place is...from phenomenal paintings by extremely talented artists to glasswork and woodwork to small gift selections (great hand towels; jewelry; utensils with fun inscriptions; etc.). The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. You will not be disappointed!
