My wife and I collect glass art and this gallery is one of the best in the country. The night we stopped by they were featuring the work of a young artist who was speaking about his art. You will find all the top glass artist's work here: Chihuly, Tagliapietra, William Morris, and the list goes on! Tom, the owner is very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to assist his clients. Stop by if you can and you will see some amazing artwork.

What an extraordinary gallery. We went to see the Fresh Air Swedish Glass exhibit and were quite simply blown away by this magnificent collection of art in all its glory. This particular exhibition features pieces that you can't peel your eyes from which isn't a bad thing because of the exquisite detail to be found within each. Speaking of detail, you may want to check out my videos of certain pieces as I tried to capture their beauty afar as well as in your face detail. I am in awe of these gifted artists. The gallery was offering wine, cheese and crackers for their opening event which was a nice touch. Plenty of street parking in the area as well as many restaurants and bars that you could visit afterwards.

Astounding.I almost squealed when I saw the work from the window outside. Hawk Galleries probably has the best glass art you'll find in Columbus. It's pure brilliance. They have a respectable Chihuly collection, plus Christopher Ries, plus Benjamin Moore, and Lino Tagliapietra! I was in heaven. The art is colorful, imaginative, and fun. If you're in a rut and need some inspiration, make a trip here. The optical illusions alone are enough to get you going. The studio is divided into three galleries plus a back office with more great art. The main art on display is glass, but there is also some canvas work, though it is less impressive. The staff keeps quiet and lets you look. They'll answer questions if you have them. I did get a tiny bit of a snobbish feel from the one woman who was there, but not enough to ruin my visit.I didn't expect to find such a gem in that part of town. There's a bunch of free parking nearby. You MUST go.
