My go-to, I need a unique, it's can't be expensive, it must be adorable go to shop. Every single time I'm in the store I find something I need for me or for a gift. Inventory and options are constantly changing. Absolutely love this little treasure!

One of my favorite shops in Columbus. They have a surprisingly wide variety of unique and fun items for gifts, home, and clothes. They even have a little kids section. If you're looking for a cute, unique gift or fun items to spruce up your home, this is a great place to look. They have stocked quite a few items from Rifle Paper & Co, Kikkerland, and Designworks Ink, to get some idea of what they have. You can see what they have in stock on their website, but it's also fun to browse the shop in person.I think the prices are reasonable for a small, local boutique store, nothing outrageous. And they frequently have clearance sales, especially on clothes.

I wandered in while walking my dog; their artsy window displays and "BOGO" sale signs caught my eye. Yes, the shop is dog friendly. Wide selection of unique clothing, bags, decor, artwork, stationery, and home goods (plus the requisite Rifle Paper Co gifts that every boutique with this aesthetic seems to carry). I was impressed with the quality, especially of the clothing, and appreciated the "why we love this" signs dotted around the store, which explained the provenance and durability of various items. Pricing is reasonable given the high quality merchandise and a lot of stuff in the clearance section is a steal. Kieran the sales associate was awesome and super friendly.

While walking along North High Street, my mom and I stumbled upon Happy Go Lucky Home & Her. Some of my favorite items were boot shaped toothpick holders, glow worm goods candles (especially the everything candle with a cinnamon chai scent), ceramic floating fish, Midnight Paloma bath soak, tropical 2-in-1 brow tool, Seattle Chocolate chocolate bars, hotdog hairclips, and Ohio hiking books. We ended up buying a pair of earrings that caught both of our eyes!

These are my favorite types of boutiques. They have the aesthetic of an Anthropologie but guilt free because they're locally owned and a fraction of the price. Happy Go Lucky should have a warning sign out front because you were gonna spend all your money here. It has suck cute stuff!!! it lowers you into buy beautiful little things that you do not need butter so happy to buy. Great spot for gifts!!

Like its fashion-forward sister next door, Happy Go Lucky Home is a delight. It's full of unique, local artwork, mixed media, furniture, candles, tableware, and more. The feel is a little on the more eclectic side with plenty of variety in styles to appeal to a wide selection of consumers--romantic, girly, modern, whimsical, sciencey, etc. I saw a nice selection of some of my favorite Charley Harper glassware that I considered picking up (I ultimately put them back because I REALLY don't need any more glasses!) plus really cute plates and servingware. Price points are reasonable and staff was hands-off but friendly. It's a great spot to browse or go to for gifting for anyone in your life.

I kind of think of Happy Go Lucky as The Catherine Store. 95% of the merchandise is to my taste and style. Perfect for adding some whimsy to your home, or finding a fun hostess gift. Tea towels, novelty dishes, throw pillows, little journals -- all that stuff I go nutty over! I think the price point on most items is pretty decent, all things considered -- very similar to what you might find online at uncommongoods.com or the like. My only gripe is that I wish they had a bigger selection of larger items like furniture, wall art, mirrors, lighting, etc. Not that they don't have any, but I've noticed a little bit of a shift towards more knick-knacky stuff. There's some upholstery samples in the back, so I suspect there may be a kind of design service available? My hunch is that these larger items take much longer to move in this setting... I feel like the few pieces they do carry have been hanging around for awhile. I kind of want this pencil mirror they have there, and the price keeps falling (though not quite low enough for me to snatch it up just yet). I guess right now it leans a little more towards "gift shop" than home dec.Service has been hit-or-miss, but on the whole I prefer to be left alone as I browse anyway. I'll just be sure to be REALLY OBVIOUS about wanting to check out last time, because standing near a register and staring at the clerk doing something in another area of the store isn't enough if she isn't paying attention. Definitely put this place on your "wandering around Short North for cute stuff" list.

Cutest shop ever!!!! You'll find extremely cool statement pieces for your home. There is also a large book selection and hilarious gifts. I will admit that it's very expensive, and maybe even a tad overpriced, but they offer interesting pieces you may not be able to find anywhere else!
