Happy Bean

The name suits the business....it really does feel happy when you walk in. Seemed to be a perfect place for studying, meeting friends, and gathering over coffee and baked treats. Plenty of seating and two doors down from a lovely local bookstore.

Stopped here as it's close by the cutest dog fountain. Had a honey lavender lemonade and it did not disappoint.

I was in town for work and needed some caffeine after a long day. I love when a coffee shop is open past lunch hours. I found parking right out front on the street and even walked through the small art gallery next door before entering. The space here is large and there were a few people who had set up to work while they enjoyed their coffee. The Rosemary ricotta scone was so expertly flavored. I loved it. I chose something festive to drink and went with the carmel apple cold brew add Almond milk. They also had a good selection of sugar free syrup options, which is always a plus for me. My drink was fantastic. Just the perfect hint of apple, without being overbearing. I would come back again and again if I was a local.

The service is always friendly and their coffee is great! We also enjoy the various teas they have available. A welcoming space but can get a little crowded if you're wanting a work space vibe while you're enjoying your drink. Worth a stop.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Mount Vernon! To begin, the inside has ample seating as well as multiple private meeting rooms you can rent if you need a private space to work. Now the drinks....by far some of the best I've had. I've been multiple times and have never been disappointed. The steamers are great, the fruit flavored drinks are unique and they can make them with zero sugar or artificial things which is awesome! The baristas are always super pleasant and willing to answer questions I have about what to order. Patient too when I get to the front of the line and find that I still don't know what I want! Definitely come here to grab something before walking around town!

Every time I come through Mt. Vernon I make a point to stop here. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious coffee. Today I ordered a hot chai latte with vanilla. It was amazing, perfect temp and had an inspirational message hand written on the cup. Get here!! You won't regret it:)

The perfect place to study or have a meeting in downtown Mount Vernon. I personally love their Americanos with a dash of oat milk.

Beautiful shop. I tried the maple macchiato. It was delicious. My brother tried the lemonade with peach puree. He said was refreshing and delicious. The ladies who work there were so Friendly. Glad we stopped in.

This is by far one of the best coffee shops that I've been to. Great atmosphere, superb customer service, and excellent coffee. The owner is extremely nice and very down to earth. I appreciate the motivational/inspirational quotes written on the coffee sleeves. I highly recommend this coffee shop! Please #ShopLocal. They deserve every bit of your business.
