Happenings Bistro

The beef and noodles are amazing. The salmon is excellent. The brunch is just seriously the best you can find locally. Period. And you won't find better pie anywhere in the county. The owner dressing up like Cupid for Valentine's Day is the icing on the cake. He always gives my kids quarters for the gum ball machine, too. Just a great place for a good solid meal every time.

Food was ok service was great prices were a little high but overall not a horrible experience

Excellent service. Food was great. Nice variety/menu. It's a typical local, home-style family restaurant--you won't be disappointed. I will definitely stop by again when the opportunity arises.

On a whim, we went to this restaurant because it was close off the highway. We were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly, and the place was clean. The service was quick, and the food was good. Recommend the potato scoops!

I visited some friends in SE Ohio last week, and they brought me to Happenings Bistro for lunch. Our server, Peggy, was really great and made us all feel welcome and right at home. We had a great lunch with some ice old mugs, and then we noticed the Wednesday special was chicken livers. We asked Peggy how they would be prepared, and she proceeded to make our mouths water right then and there!Well, Wednesday finally rolled around and we went to Happenings Bistro again. Two of us ordered the chicken livers, and the 3rd ordered the Perch Sandwich.We were ALL in heaven once the food arrived, and once again Peggy made sure we had everything we needed right away. The owner was very visible and personable as well, and we will go back again for sure! Go for the specials!!

What a Gem this place is... I got their signature burger and what they call potato scoops which are wide but thinly cut fries. You can get them loaded or just with dipping sauce. The burger was half pound patty of perfection & the Bun was toasted and just wonderful! I will be back. Even though it's a long way from Columbus

If you're visiting the area, this is a hidden gem. Service is excellent, ambiance is definitely old town diner. The food is amazing! Save your appetite for the best burger you've ever tasted! The burger is a thick juicy patty made with fresh ground beef. The flavor is the proof! Make sure you ask for a side of the tastiest onion strings!!

Nice decor. Good food quality. Nicely executed creative recipes. Service used to be phenomenal but has declined. Pricing is over priced for the amount of food. That on top of the fact FYI they charge for glass of ice water keeps some people away.

Nice little place in Wellston, just a mile or two off State Route 32. I've never been there for dinner, but I've eaten lunch there a couple of times while in the area.
