This was my first time here. From the outside you would have never thought you would be walking into this amazingly well designed and beautifully decorated restaurant. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and it was perfectly smooth along with the oysters. This place knows how to do it! I was highly impressed with how well the staff was organized. So if you're looking for a real treat with a price tag, then you must try Hank's Low Country.

Wow! I haven't had gourmet seafood in Ohio for many, many years! We frequent Charleston, South Carolina and know about Hanks. This is a perfect personification of excellence and seafood! The lounge is absolutely beautiful and has a great happy hour to try it out! I get a genuine feel of authentic seafood with great service! Everyone was so amazing and helpful!

We were very excited to try Hank's during Restaurant Week, but unfortunately we will not be returning. Me and my partner both ordered from the restaurant week menu - I got the calamari, shrimp & grits, and key lime pie. He got the crab soup, salmon, and key lime pie. The food was tasty but the service and experience did not at all equate to the price we paid. Our waiter "forgot" to originally put in our orders, and didn't realize until much later when the surrounding tables seated after us had gotten their appetizers long before us. The bread and butter was awful, the butter was disgustingly salty (but at the end of the day it is free). I ordered the High St Tango cocktail and it was literally undrinkable - we each took one sip and then waited for our waiter to finally come back to check on us so I could trade it out for a glass of Rose. We were surprised to see we were still charged for the cocktail we didn't drink when we received the bill. We paid for it without complaint, but I feel like it says a lot about the restaurant to still charge you for it when there was clearly an issue. Lastly, the tables are extremely close together. If you are looking for a place to have a private/intimate conversation... definitely not the spot for you. All three courses from the restaurant week menu were good, but the problems listed above will prevent us from ever returning.

Ok parking?! NOT FUN!! Just valet & save yourself. The most amazing northern seafood ya ever did have!! I loved the design, the build. The cool, fun light fixtures were just so awesome. Am I the only one that stares at a design of a restaurant?! The most perfect intimate, date night spot. You will not regret it. I love crab cakes & scallops for the first time ever..WHO KNEW. I am such a seafood girly..but we all knew this. I would live in the ocean if I could. The lemon drop martini was in fact not a good time..I do not recommend. But everything else was perfection. The staff was kind. You will do amazing work here..MakeReady Restaurant!! Let's see if you can keep up with Cameron Mitchell!!

Everything - SO GOOD. Best oysters in competition with Worthington Tavern. Don't get them anywhere else, but at these two places. For eats (to start) -East Coast Oyster sample (half), fried green tomatoes, and their bread to start.(for dinner) - Fried mashed potatoes (was like a giant hash brown)Seared grouperSeared sea scallopsDessert - chocolate mousseService was great. Very attentive. Love the feel of the restaurant. Only complaint- to whoever designed the place made the back room feel like a bit of an after thought. The main part of the restaurant is gorgeous and has a great feel to it. Other than this - it doesn't ruin the night land experience. Will definitely be back for brunch and dinner again!!

If you are looking for some fresh and delicious seafood around the Columbus area, Hank's Low Country Seafood is definitely the place to be.Spent an evening at Hank's a few weeks back and we both love it. From the Seafood Towers, the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, to the Seared sea scallops. I would only say they are all fresh and flavor are on point. It was such a great evening and we love their warm warming hospitality.

What a wonderful happy hour they have at Hanks! As soon as you walk into the door you notice the beautiful decorations and a very welcoming bar/lounge area. The hostess was very nice as we walked in and even answered some questions about the new restaurant and its sister restaurant across the street. We were sat at the bar and given a few different menus for the happy hour, drinks, and full menu. A lot of good options but we ended up going with the fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits. Tomatoes were nice and bitter, perfect for the dish, and the shrimp were huge! It's tough to get grits right and Hanks killed it with theirs. Nice and plump without being mushy, just the way it should be. Definitely coming back to try the rest of their menu!

I tried to get into eat here two times, was always no reservations. So this time reservation was made three weeks before Valentine's Day success. So started off with She Crab soup and Crab cakes. The waitress was wonderful and brought two soups as the She crab soup is severed in a huge bowl. It was so good and very hard to find this quality of soup in Columbus. The Crab cake were equally as good and had a small bit of corn in them which gave a sweetness well as the lemon butter sauce that sat on. Next was my Grilled Swordfish this was cooked perfectly, and had a delcious Lowcountry chimichurri on top. This really step up the flavor, served with fried rice and fried okra. We also tried the Seafood A la Wando, which contained daily fish selection, shellfish and a fried grit cake covered in light saffron cream, finished with crab. This was a smaller portion but loaded with all the seafood. I know you're thinking wow but I saved the best for last. The Homemade Key lime pie was exceptional. It was perfectly tart with a Meringue topping that was toasted! Oh my it really was Great. The restrooms are spotless as you would want them to be. This is really a special occasion place, we won't talk about pricing but it was expensive however worth every penny.

Went to Hank's for the first time to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday. Things to note: we went during happy hour and it was restaurant. They offered 3 courses for $50. There were a few things on special for happy hour--drinks and deal on oysters. When booking the Rez, I didn't know we couldn't get happy hour where we were sat. Our server was great, said that he could move us but we opted to stay and didn't order anything from the HH menu or restaurant week menu. We ordered a bunch of starters to share because we were going on a mini food tour. The oysters were fresh! The crabcakes were my favorite. They were so delicious. Not a lot of breading/filler. Really tasty crab meat. Was not impressed by the she crab soup. The radish salad was also okay. Honestly, it was pricy. The service and the vibes in there were really nice. I was glad I got the experience. I would come back to try an entree bc they looked like they would be good!

Having visited the Hank's location in Charleston, South Carolina, I was skeptical that the Columbus location would be as amazing and live up to my previous experience. To my surprise, I was blown away by the overall quality and atmosphere that Hank's Columbus had. The food was just as good, if not better, and I think it's very well priced. Hands down the best restaurant in Columbus. 10/10!
