A quick Yelp search led us to the Hamburger Inn Diner, as we were in town yo watch our daughter's college hoops game. Crowded, but two great stools at the counter, next to a well-known customer who caught me eyeing his HUGE bowl of beef & noodles over mashed taters. Friendly, home-towny, awesome folks. Crushed my mushroom/bacon/swiss double with fresh-cut fries. Mrs. had Hometown Favorite breakfast, and was nice enough to leave me a big fat sausage link. Can't wait 'til Denison girls' team visits here again...we'll be back!!! Thanks to our server...who was perfect! Don't miss this place.

My daughter and I love this place, it's really nostalgic looking on the inside. We loved the stools and bar seating. It made me think of Woolworths Department Store restaurants.I ordered the Chorizo Jalapeño Burger with 2 beef patties and a Chorizo patty. That was filling and delicious WOW!! My daughter had the Bacon Bleu Burger with 2 patties. She said the flavor was outstanding and her fries were very good. I did get onion rings with my meal and they were crispy and cooked the way I like them. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you the restrooms were clean as well!

Had a Monday off so we visited Hamburger Inn for breakfast. I'd definitely describe this as more of a dive, it's pretty small and unassuming, and dimly lit. The tables are bars kind of in an S shape and the stools are bolted down. When we arrived we were greeted and told to sit wherever, it wasn't very busy so we had no problem finding a spot. I have menu anxiety, so of course I already had decided what to get before arriving so we ordered right away after we got drinks. Service was fast and the prices were cheap. The food was delicious. We had a cinnamon rolled, warmed up. It was so good, well balanced and not overly sweet. For my main I had the bacon ham and cheddar scramble, it was HUGE. Very tasty, I love the style of their fried potatoes, they're like crispy slices. My husband had the lumberjack with over medium eggs, a nice size portion. Delicious pancakes. We really enjoyed our breakfast, I can definitely see why it's packed on the weekends. If you're planning to come try a week day, or be prepared for a wait since there's not a ton of seating.

Just a simple old style burger joint!The burgers were hot, fresh and very flavorful.The fries were like fair fries and they even had malt vinegar to sprinkle on.The best part of the meal was the cinnamon bun for desert.....hands down the best cinnamon bun I have ever had. I can't do justice in words how good these things are. They also serve breakfast and I can tell you that on my next day off I am driving up there just to try their breakfast and have another of those cinnamon buns.Oh, and the staff there is very friendly and very attentive.....Great experience all the way around!

First went to the Hamburger Inn nearly 50 years ago, and just about lived there in my college days at OWU. Have stopped in nostogically for 30 years since moving back to the area, and was always pleased with the consistency. Not this trip, last Wednesday.Had the Bacon Blue burger with fries, a cup of chili and coffee. Chili taste was fine, but it was at best lukewarm. Fries were abysmal, limp and oily. Bacon was decent, but the burger patty was dry, and the blue cheese crumbles were tasteless. I have to blame Delaware's nasty iron/sulfur water, but the coffee tasted like crap.SERVICE was top-notch, attentive and friendly. The meal just sucked.

A fabulous treat with food, service, and ambiance all deserving of over the top marks. The service was phenominal with our waitress providing quick response to our needs. She deserves even more credit for helping us provide a surprise to our good friends. She gave no indication that we picked up their bill leaving them wondering who their benefactor was. The food was quickly delivered and tasty. The overall price was more than fair and who could slight the renowned cinnamon roll? Definitely one of Delaware's (OH) best
