the fish was excellent.i sent back the chicken kabobsi guess the cook either marinatedthem in salt or just added so muchsalt they could swim.the waiter was friendly but did notoffer us a glass of water. in factthere was nothing on the menuto drink, except for cans or bottlesfrom the frig. They did offer afree lentil soup that was tasty and well done but did not take the place of tea or water................The plate was certainly ample but too smallfor the kebobs, corrected with the fish.the rice that went with the fish wasexcellent but a single tomato partly grilled along with an onion and a few shreds of lettuce was ridiculous, but the tahini dressing was good. At those prices i think a side to any dish would be offered.Would i bring my entire group of Ethnic Lunch people here? No. Not at this time, I might try it again with a friend again, perhaps after awhile, and perhaps after they settle in BUT the prices were outrageous and in my opinion the person who is cooking, is a very good home cook but none of the food showed the care or delicacy i would expect from a an actual chef at those prices.I am noting that we have so many wonderful Mediterranean cuisines in Columbus , i think advertising themselves as that, does not quite cover the ethnicity of the restaurant, we were hoping for Lebanese food with special dishes like Muhammara and something that are indigenous to that region, something that was unique. Vegetables????? Even Kibbeh can be made with vegetables !!! but not one on the menu. Too time consuming ??? so to sum it up nothing special or unique, which we would have been happy to pay for, at very high prices, but everything changes and i wish them good luck and i hope they find a personality to the restaurant that is truly Middle Eastern , the wonderful dishes from Palestine like Maghuba, or Barley filled zucchini , veggie shwarma, lebanese kolokassi. Something special that sets them apart from the other restaurants......................
