Habaneros Tacos Tequila Mezcal

Nice patio. Attentive service. Food was okay. They have a nacho special on Sundays which is a great deal! Margaritas were delicious.

Great food, great vibes, great service. Drinks were awesome - very large margaritas! The street fajita tacos were delicious. Our waitress was very helpful and super nice!

Great food. Ordered carry out at the bar. Spread of street tacos; steak (the best) chicken (very good) fish (quality fish meat). Queso and chips were good. The tortillas were fresh and delicious. Kids got the mozzarella sticks, loved them. I'm allergic to dairy and I was able to have the steak & chicken tacos. Also had the chips, all with no issue.

Amazing service and even better food. You won't find a better Mexican place than this. Everything on their menu is delicious and portions are spectacular. Greeted with a smile everytime im here and never had a bad experience. Absolute staple in the grandview area!

Habaneros is a mix of a modern cantina with sports bar vibes. The staff was super nice and helpful when asking about various menu items. They don't offer free chips and salsa which was somewhat disappointing. I tried a smothered tinga burrito. I had never heard of tinga before, but it's shredded chicken cooked in a sauce made from tomatoes, chipotle chilis in adobo, and sliced onions -- our waitress recommended it so I gave it a try. The food was ready in under 15 minutes, but was ironically luke warm. The burrito was pretty big, but it came out to around $15. For that price, I would've hoped it at least came with a side of chips. I would probably come back, but I'll be trying something else. The torta's looked good and our waitress said that was her favorite, so maybe I'll go with one of those.

Overall, food was pretty good. Everything was flavorful and well put together. It was nice to be able to sit on the covered patio that is right off of the bar, and it didn't get too loud during peak dinner hours. Service could have been better. Our server didn't seem to have a focused section, so she was all over- which means she didn't come to us often (maybe 5 times including drinks, apps, meal, and check). When I went into the bathroom two of the servers were sitting at a table chatting. I would definitely go back, but hope for better service next time.

Came to Habaneros to watch (a disappointing) Ohio State v Missouri game a few weeks ago. They had TVs projecting the game everywhere you looked, which was nice so I didn't have to sit a certain way to watch! As soon as we sat down, we were helped. The staff was very nice and attentive, and our food came out fast! We got frozen margs (one strawberry, one jalapeño), which were huge! To share, we got chips and queso. I got a chicken taco and a shrimp taco. On the side were a few cucumbers and radishes which were a nice touch to add some crunch. The shrimp taco was sooooo good, I almost wished I got two of those instead. Next time, I'll likely order that. We each got a side of spanish rice too, which we probably didn't need because everything else filled us up! We took some margs to go in little styrofoam cups too! I wouldn't recommend having too many margs, though. My stomach hurt a little bit after from all the sugar lol. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant, which made parking super convenient. I love that area over in Grandview. I find myself over there very often, so I was happy I finally got to try Habaneros. I think I might become a regular here.

veggie quesadilla was good enough for the price and what it is. but the beans taste canned it was actually jarring. waste of money... definitely not the peak of mexican food in columbus, not authentic at all if it's not obvious... also no free chips, omg that's a crime. no chili's tex mex vibes either, just off. you'll know that as soon as you walk in though, but ya didn't hear it from me.

Came here for happy hour- we ordered all happy hour deals. When the check came they didn't honor any of the happy hour prices. We asked the server, which she said she wasn't sure and came back and said everything was excluded. If you are going to have happy hour deals on the menu the very least you can do is honor them. First and last time coming here! Will make sure everyone knows to go to literally any other Mexican place in Columbus.

Ordered food to go and they forgot the chips with my queso. Apparently I was supposed to drink it. The corn salsa just taste and look like canned corn, and the bowl has liquid just seeping at the bottom of it. This place has gone down hill and I wouldn't recommend it.
