G's Flavor House

Bee trying to catch up with this food truck for quite a while. Today was the day. Met the owner/operator Stacy Green. Stacy has been operating the truck since 2019. He was a truck driver for 17 years. Boy am I glad that he changed careers. I ordered the wings, baked beans, Mac and cheese and greens. The beans had a nice mild flavor to them. The greens had some onions and I think pork mixed in to them. Great flavor to them. Macaroni and cheese was definitely homemade baked dish. It had great flavor and texture to it. On to the star of the show. It was the wings for sure. They were deep fried but not crispy as you would think. They were nice and moist. Coated in a hot honey sauce. Make sure you have some water nearby. I would definitely recommend them. Great experience. Don't hesitate to check them out. They're on StreetFoodFinder.com.

Most Friday's their food truck was outside Crafted Culture (when they were on Morrison Rd) and I'd often stop - the BEST wings I've ever had!! They're huge, cooked amazingly with crispy breading, and the sauces are great. I crave these wings and I'm barely a "wing" person, they're that good, as are the collard greens!!! Mac N Cheese is pretty good. They were always crazy busy with orders, so sometimes slow, as to be expected, but so worth any wait - and that means you know it's good when everyone wants it! If you see 'em definitely stop, and it looks like he usually posts where they're at on their Instagram. Give them support, I want them to be around!!!

The wait does not make up for the food. Waited over an hour for two burgers with hardly anything on them. I ordered a vegetarian sandwich for my sister and asked for lettuce and pickle as well as onion and tomato. I only got the tomato and a big chunk of red onion. What frustrates me the most about the service is that the lady taking orders literally told the person behind us the wait would be 15 minutes tops and we waited over an hour, nearly completely missing an entire event. The food is good but it definitely not worth the wait. What I recommend:Take 3 orders at a time, getting them out quickly to focus on speed and then take more.Thank you.

We were at Maymee Moore Thursday night concert tried G's Flavorhouse and I am so glad that we did. Everyone out had fish but baaaby their fish was on point.
