Probably the best bar in BG -- cute, cozy space with amazing employees and unique, reasonably priced drinks. They have karaoke on the weekends but also fun events during the week. Trivia is always super fun (even when you don't know anything), and Name That Tune is a blast. It has a pretty chill vibe.I would highly recommend trying some of their seasonal drinks/shots. The concepts are always super clever, and I've never had one that tasted bad! One of the Valentine's Day drinks had whipped cream, which was delicious. It seems the bartenders actually care about the drinks they are making.I would definitely recommend visiting, no matter what day of the week it is.

I actually never came here during my 4 years at BGSU, but last weekend I came up for a visit. A friend and I came to see our friend's band play. Nice space for live music and the drink prices are fair.

I was in Bowling Green for the weekend and happily ended up at Grumpy Dave's with some local grad students. This place is awesome- they have a ton of beers from far and wide to choose from, pool, karaoke on certain nights, and a tv in the back that, at least while I was there, played cartoon network. Hell yeah. The layout of the place allows the stage area on one side to burst with acoustic fervor, while the tables in the back are quiet enough to have a conversation. Or maybe by that point we were all shouting...? Regardless, I had a blast and should I end up in this town again, you can bet I'll make a stop at Grumpy Dave's.

Nice place, but can get loud for a smaller space. Good drink prices.

for some reason this place makes me tired. i dont know what it is. whenever friends want to meet up there I usually stay for one drink and make my way. it's obviously something psychological with me because the place is fine. I just get very drowsy & bored & never really have a good time. very bland.

Marc is the bomb.com. He's got a mysterious but also trusting "I could totally follow you into an ally vibe" let me tell you if that hunk o mysterious bearded man asks you in a date HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL you better FREAKING GO! 10/10 the best first date of all time. 2nd best bartender in Bg only second to Tabitha, but that man is at least a 16 syllable DAMN

Grumpy Dave's is awesome! They have karaoke, pool tables & is overall a nice casual hangout bar. I always have a great time there. the only downside is you have to go up a steep flight of stairs which can be an issue if you have trouble with that and is a little scary when you're really drunk struggling with balance
