Groovy Plants Ranch

We have been using Groovy Plants since they opened. They have a wide selection of plants for anyone & the staff is very friendly and helpfull.My wife and I we highly recommend them.Plus their unusual decoration (see photo) is entertaining.

Incredible nursery but it's so much more! Even in the late fall there are greenhouses full of flowers, gorgeous garden decor and incredible ambiance. Everyone was so friendly and we just loved the set up! If I lived local I would buy up so many plants!

This nursery has an incredible selection of indoor and outdoor plants at really reasonable prices. They also have fun displays with aliens and little plant monsters that make for a fun family stroll.

Crazy busy at 11am on a Thursday, the secrets out! Went to pick up some pre orders, ended up with 4 other things. Run so well for how busy they are!Love this place and the amazing service!Best selection of plants in the area, most homegrown

Great selection is an understatement there are so many choices with a variety of prices. They didn't seem to be very many employees walking around offering assistance. Their property is enormous, and there are so many plants. They also had an area where you can mine for gemstones. That was a self-serve area so if you bring little kids just be aware. It wasn't exactly accommodating for a wheelchair, there were a lot of areas that had gravel that are extremely difficult if you're using a wheelchair. prepared to go on a road trip in the middle of nowhere just a note. There's no food or restaurants or anything near that area. However they did have a coffee truck there. There was plenty of parking across the street. I would definitely go again if you go prepared to spend at least an hour or two there.

Huge selection and super friendly staff! Came with my kids and created a great planted pot for a gift! Also cracked a geo rock and was a fun time!

LOVE this place, and will most certainly be back again! Was on a hunt for a watermelon pepperomia. They definitely had it, and more!Huge and wide variety of selection with many plants and pots. Loved seeing that it's dog friendly and the property has 2-3 Australian shepherd dogs of their own. So cute!!They're super friendly there, and were very helpful. I feel like as far as value, they are well priced! Not inexpensive, but also outrageous! Well worth it and just beautiful place. So glad it's only a 30 minute drive for us.

Cute place but I will never come back when there is snow on the ground. I came to meet some friends for a yoga class which was fine but pretty cold and nothing particularly groovy about it. Having said that I came more to meet my friends and check the place out because I have heard wonderful things about Groovy plants over the years. Also $15 plus tax for a yoga class is reasonable. The teacher was also friendly and came out to find me when she saw me lost and wandering around. My issue is the parking lot was full of ice and snow. My car was driving completely fine when I left my house and as soon as I pulled in I knew it was going to be a problem but I didn't know where else to go with my car because it was stuck almost immediately. I was able to rearrange my car into a spot eventually but i could tell it was putting some tear on it and the engine light came on later when I was trying to leave. The staff was nice enough to get some people to help and pushed my car out, although one complained because it was too slippery (shocker)but they acted like my car just happened to break down on its own which is annoying because it drove perfectly fine for 40 minutes to get me there and it's not new but it's a 2017 with no current issues. It now drives forward without the ability to drive backwards and I had to get it towed to a repair shop because AutoZone was not able to check the transmission fluid. They aren't even able to look at it until Friday and because it's unclear if the damage is internal or external, I am carless as it may or may not be covered by insurance. Regardless if it was damaged by me putting too much stress on my car internally by being too aggressive trying to get out of the spot or by running over the ice this would not have happened if the parking lot would have been cleared and I would have not been stuck in the snow. Also, people are carrying big trays of plants across the parking lot and someone could easily fall or hurt themselves. The place itself is gorgeous with tons of amazing options and friendly staff. However I would not go there during winter if there is snow on the ground if you don't have four wheel drive or are steady on your feet.

I've visited Groovy Plants Ranch twice now and both times have been fun and great experiences. While most of my time is spent wandering all the different plants looking at the many many options before finally picking out a few to take home, any interactions with the staff has been positive. The fun little photo or prop areas are cute. The sheer number of plants and varieties that GPR has available for sale is crazy to me! I lean more towards succulents and cacti than other plant kinds and GPR is known for both. At this point I have multiple plants from them and they're all doing great. I think their pricing is very fair!My most recent trip I used the Potter's Saloon for the first time - picked out a pot and used the provided potting soil for my "Fizzle Sizzle" plant. I also had my dog with me, who enjoyed exploring and carefully sniffing around the property.
