Great Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Stopped here on Christmas Eve on our way home from the mother in laws. She didn't want to come because for some reason she is under the impression there is no good Chinese in Upper Sandusky. From the old reviews here and the other location, one might agree. So we braved it for her in order to update the review. This location is still closed to public dining but you can walk in and order take out. So we did. We got our typical General Tso Chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and we asked for a sesame chicken rendition of tofu. In addition we do not eat pork or shrimp so we asked for spring rolls instead and of course I got my imitation crab Rangoon. They were very polite and accommodating! They perfectly prepared each dish though the rice was a tad over done. This establishment was clean, workers friendly, and food was well executed and fresh. It was very typical Americanized Chinese food. We will be back and we will be informing the mother in law that she does in fact have options for Chinese food in her new home town.

Hadn't been to the restaurant for years, was in the area and Chinese sounded good so stopped in and got a to-go order. We got a good amount of good food and was pleased, prices competitive with other in surrounding towns. Since we were happy with it decided to go another time, sort of a spur of the moment on a Sunday. I found out the lunch specials do not include Sunday but was going order anyway; I wanted friend rice and was told it was extra. I left and went to another Chinese restaurant that had the Sunday lunch special and no extra charge for fried rice. Doubtful that we will choose Great Dragon again.

The sesame chicken and crab ragoons are the best here. They are fast and reasonably priced. And their portions are huge! A dinner is enough for 2 people. And we always have leftovers :) They are open on holidays when everything is closed. The people who own and work their are so nice too.

This is my go-to choice for Chinese food in Upper! Hands down better than the other option and I'm addicted to their egg rolls!

Sweet and sour chick had a lot of dough and little chicken. Wonton soup was decent but wontons were tough. Steamed rice was excellent and the people are nice. It's clean. Try them out but the cook and his mother were arguing while I dined.

Great customer service amazing quality of food.food done in 15 min and we ordered alot

Ordered at the counter and paid. We were told 20 min. After 35 min. the young gal that took our order questioned what we a ordered and if we paid cash or credit. She clearly was having trouble locating our order. We were told they were out of Lo Mein that's why it was taking so long. Arriving home with our order to notice that C11 the dinner we ordered didn't come with an egg roll. Also we were served white rice not fried. So we paid for a dinner and didn't receive one.

We have only gotten take-out from this restaurant, and it's good! The food tastes very well, typical Chinese take-out, at decent pricing as well. However, their customer service is not great. Sometimes you will find the people working the front yelling at each other, which really makes one feel uncomfortable. Once they had messed up our take-out order, and I did not find out until I got back home. It was in the middle of winter, and the sidewalk in front of the restaurant had completely iced over. Because of this, I just called them up, hoping to get a credit towards a future order. They had given us a smaller portion instead of what we ordered and were charged for, and had forgotten the sweet & sour sauce. The person I spoke to, did not care at all. He told me to come back out with the food and he would see if they had indeed made a mistake. I did not want to brave the sidewalk again, so I left it at that and made sure to check better next time.

I have been all over the U.S. and to several countries and I love to eat. I try to stay away from chain restaurants most of the time, Mom and Pop or local places are usually interesting and have good food. I have never had any truly awful Chinese food until I ate at this place. The food was grease laden, very bland and the absolute worst I have ever had. I consider this experience to be a waste of over thirty dollars. I should have gotten Chinese from the freezer section at Walmart.

Awesome service and excellent food food is prepared quick and fresh the workers are very friendly and talkative love eating there
