I've been driving by this place for 5+ years and only recently made the time to stop in and browse. This place is huge and has a ton of beautifully curated furniture, art, and antiques. Every corner you turn there's something new to googly-eye over. I particularly loved the inventory of art they have. I feel like I've seen something from just about every era for the last 100 years. Colorful art deco paintings, culturally specific tapestries, amazing glass structures, tons of impressionism pieces, I could go on and on. If you're looking to add some character to your space, I definitely suggest paying Grandview Mercantile a visit. Depending on what you're looking for, it might not be cheap, but it'll be unique and special.

This is one of my favorite stores in Grandview and absolutely recommend. They offer furniture, art, jewellery, antique and vintage pieces, lighting, consignments, and more. Plenty of free parking in the lot and meter street parking on Grandview Ave. Very inviting atmosphere. You can find all kinds of fun stuff here and it is great to just walk around and explore. I always discover a lot of cool and some vintages pieces that sparks nostalgia. Especially the "I remember that style" and it reminds you of a specific time period. Or even better the odd find or "what is that" or "what do you use that for" item? New arrivals all the time and I love to use that as a reason to revisit to see what's new. The price points are of a wide range and there are some really good finds. Some furniture pieces show a markdown schedule and you can keep an eye on it if it is just something you would get if the price is right. You can even browse and make offers on their website at www.grandviewmercantile.com/. I personally prefer the experience of walking through the showrooms and absolutely recommend checking the Grandview Mercantile out. You never know when you will run across or find something you didn't even know you needed!

I absolutely LOVE this place! It's a fun treasure hunt. I've been coming here for years and have always found very high-quality products that are unique for various tastes and styles and that stand out. Everyone is so kind, knowledgeable and willing to assist, however needed. There's always new furniture and products that are definitely reasonably priced. You can certainly find something you adore and will cherish forever. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you, Tabitha Stitt, The Self-Help Psychic

I love this business and have been going here for years. I've never sold anything through there consignment but have bought some real treasures, from art to large pieces of furniture. Plus it's just fun to browse. Staff have always been really helpful.

A mix of consignment and set-price home decor and furniture, this is a great move to this new location for Grandview Mercantile Review (GMR). Definitely more space to move about, and things are not as squished into every nook and cranny. There are some really spiffy furniture options (kitchen tables, lounge chairs, sofas, end caps). Some stuff is ticketed showing the discounted price if the piece is still for sale by the printed date. Yes, as is the case for many consignment stores, you have to keep an eye on the piece you're thinking of buying; if you wait too long, it could get snagged up, while you're enjoying a scoop of Jenny's ice cream down the road.I'm thinking I'll venture back in to take a more proper look at the jewelry section, as my mom loves jewelry, especially of the antique variety. Perhaps I'll be able to snag her birthday present from GMR.

I hadn't been in since they moved to their new location in Grandview, so I was interested in checking it out. This is a nice large space filled with a lot of neat items to peruse. The center of the space contains a huge amount of furniture and a whole lot of chandeliers. These are accented by colorful rugs and a variety of artwork. Vases, bowls, and other decor items sit on the tables, sideboards, and more. There are a number of cases on the side of the store near the registers that have everything from china and silverware to art and jewelry. There's even some fascinating items like fossils, a meteorite, and a toothbrush that looked like it had actual teeth where the bristles are. The sales tags on each item list what the price will be on several different dates (assuming it hasn't sold before then). There is a good sized parking lot that is shared with the neighboring Big Lots.

Tucked around the side of Big Lots, this is a furniture/home decor store with a large selection. Also some jewelry, clothes, etc. All sorts of styles for your home decorating needs, lots of paintings, some kitchenware. Big, and packed, but laid out so you can browse easily. Prices seem reasonable. Sweetie will need to come and see what we need, so I'm sure we'll be back.

Bro you want some crap for your house? Get you some here, but only if you're hip AF and have way more money than I do. (You probably do.) Like, it's cool to come here and look around but I can't envision any circumstances where I would actually buy something. This place is basically an artisanal thrift store. Like, if every Belle & Sebastian fan in the world was hired to peruse garage sales and thift stores until they were able to fill a warehouse, this is what you'd come up with. I'm sure you could make yourself a tidy living buying old junk from Facebook Marketplace and then consigning it here. I realize that this makes me sound like a ranting old man but I pretty much am that so whatever.

I have been to Grandview Mercantile so many times, and I'm surprised it has taken me this long to write a review. But the fact that I mention having gone so many times should tell you how much I like this place. I have seen a few reviews mentioning that it seems to be a home decorations store but that things seem a little old, that their products are overpriced, that they call themselves a "mercantile" but that there is almost nothing in the way of clothing and foodstuffs. People fail to grasp that this is primarily a store that sells antiques and other items that are on consignment (some things that are old and some things that are not so old). That said, the inventory changes by the week (maybe by the day) depending on new items they have received and who is contracted to consign with them. So, don't go in trying to find Ikea and Target products and prices because most of what Grandview Mercantile sells is of much higher quality. We have quite a number of items in our house that we bought from Grandview Mercantile. These range from flower vases to sets of glasses to paintings to other small decorative oddities. I will often walk through, find something that I like, see that the price will drop by a quarter or maybe even half within the next two weeks, and then come back later to get it. I have been successful in making purchases that way, but sometimes I haven't. That's the luck of the draw -- someone else might like the same piece and make the purchase before I return. But whatever...Grandview Mercantile always has something that interests me and makes me want to go back. Right now I have my eye on a small chest of drawers that I hope will be available in a week when the price has gone down a little more. If it isn't, I'm sure I'll find something else another time. So, if you like browsing antique and consignment shops, if you like looking at curious and sometimes just weird stuff, if you're looking for a piece of furniture or home decor, or if you're in the market for a platinum and diamond ring, stop by Grandview Mercantile. Even if you buy nothing, you'll see some pretty awesome stuff.
