A gentrified carry-out for a gentrified neighborhood means coolers of crafts and aises of wine in wooden shelving. Center of The area, 3rd and Grandview, across the over-slick condo tower, catty-corner from the gutted, forever-in-refurbishment Grandview Cafe, facing the reused gass station at it East, the former 7/11 has a faux wooden overhang in earth tone gray, a colorful brick facade, and potted plants. This is the paper bag, Mad Dog 20/20 carryout transformed by the demands of modern urbanism. It is still a carry-out rest assured. The unvarnish board which acts as a counter is logged with impulse junk. Here you can get ice, 12-packs, soda, 22s, 40s, and cigs. Upscaled or not a carryout is a den of sin, and this one sells your temptations as well as any others. And of course, the clerk has a TV, a 20" LCD in lieu of the carry-out cliched rabbit eared box. But its upscale trimming can impress. It has a nice selection of crafty suds and the usual C-Town suspects of indy brew-- its build-a-six is small--but it is not as impressing as other places like Kenny Market. What it doubles as is a wine shop. There are two rows running the length of its sales floor. And I don't mean the Sutter Home, Cavet, Beringer common supermarket case stacks but private winery labeled from Napa, Washington, everywhere. I've picked up great midline Rieslings and Moscato here, and a few impressive-for-the-level Chiantis. So if your wino style has moved from Mad Dogg to corked Merlot then come here. There is decent wine on sale.

This place has seriously gone downhill! I'm not sure how long they will make it in such a popular area with the poor selection and terrible customer service. My office is nearby so someone often will walk over to grab some chips or a drink here during the day. Many of the shelves are empty and the selection depends on what they feel like restocking that week. The usual guy who works there wears headphones and barely looks up when checking you out. I'm not sure he's ever even said hello or given me a total due. I really hate giving bad reviews but Grandview is my neighborhood and I hate even more that this space isn't filled by a better business!

I love this place! There beer selection is huuuuuge! They have tons of quality, craft beer. It took me a long time to look through all of it, and I noticed that their prices were comparable to what you would find elsewhere. They also have an ample amount of wine, which I didn't pay much attention to. Regardless, go to Grandview Carry Out if you are in need of a tasty brew to help celebrate whatever.

Grandview Carryout recently replaced the old 7-eleven on Grandview Ave. It's right next door to Cow Town Pizza. I went in looking for some Captain Morgan's. Unfortunately, they don't carry hard liquor. They did have some Popov, Bailey's and Kahlua though. The rest is a very nice selection of beer and wine. I was impressed. I always like when I can buy just one bottle of beer, if it's something I have never tried before. This is definitely a great place to stop by on your way to a party for a last minute contribution.

It's a little store where you can go and pick up wine and beer in decent supply. The wines come from all over, including France, Spain, Chile, South Africa, Australia, Italy, and the good ol' USA. Prices range from the $10s to the $20s, but a few under $10 can be found, such as the Cuvée de Peña. The beer selection is fairly extensive and comes from the USA (even local Columbus beers), Canada and some other international beers such as Guinness and Tsing Tao. I also saw some Czech beer and that piqued my interest since it's rumored that Czech beer is one of the best kinds. Credit card purchases are allowed, but must be at least $8.00.Regulars can be found stopping by, saying hello to Baron Hashemi (co-owner) and Guinness, the resident cat. Guinness is a loveable black and white longhair who enjoys being held and petted.

Great selection of beer and wine. The employees are always down to help you pick out something new or just chat on the qualities of German Riesling.Be sure to say hello to the cats when you go in. But be careful, they tend to sneak up on you.

Friendly and helpful staff with interesting craft beers and an extremely large selection of high scale wines. The minimum on a card is $3. They also have pretty great deals for select beers and wines all the time. They've also got a decent size selections of non alcoholic drinks such as soda pop, energy drinks (flavors I've never before seen), lemonades juices and teas. They have an aisle of snack foods which has a nice selection of sweets and other junk foods. The shelf's are very well stocked and filled up with larger cases and selections within the walk in cooler. Easily one of my favorite and most frequented spots in grandview

Staff was friendly but establishment could've been better stocked. They had more alcohol available in the back refrigerators but not accessible to potential patrons. Also, check your beer/cocktails! I bought Flying Dog Bloodline Blood Orange IPA and it tasted terrible. One reason may be that I do not gravitate towards IPA in general because they're pretty bitter but this 6-pack had expired on May 7, 2020! Yes, I do believe that it is the customer's responsibility to be vigilant about expiration dates, but this establishment should take some responsibility as well. The beverage was over three weeks expired and could've made me sick.
