Ordered Bacon Cheese burger with onion rings. Wife got the hot roast beef sandwich with gravy and hash browns. Both were OK. We were here last year when we visited my father. Food is very reasonably priced. It a simple local place with good food. Kind of what you expect for this area. Much better than the chain restaurant.

Very friendly service. Food was good, and filling. Everyone is really laid back. It definitely the local place we were looking for.

Great value and a great amount of food. Best breakfast in Moundsville. Cozy and can be a little hectic during typical breakfast/lunch rush but worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Not a bad place for a small mom and pop shop, and I think breakfast might be a better meal to enjoy here, but overall the place is just ok. I ordered the Reuben and Fries with a Pepsi (can) and the total came to $5.30, which is absolutely amazing - talk about a sweet deal. Now, the service was 3 folks; a guy on the grill (who seemed a little overwhelmed), a lady doing the hostess and waitress work and some bussing, and some guy that just walked around - kinda odd. The waitress was very nice and did a good job. I did see them cook some things in the microwave, which I am sure lots of restaurants do - but it might be better to put it in the back as I watched them pretty much cook someone's whole meal using the microwave. Again, my food was pretty good and the price was spot on, but not sure I would recommend.

Looking for that local jewel around wheeling/moundsville..this is it. Very good home cooked type food and great prices. Very nice serving sizes and a nice selection of items on the menu. We had Breakfast, 4 of us and everyone raved about it. Shock (scramble) omelet, french toast, biscuits and gravy. All 4 meals with drinks and tip less than $40. Polite staff and pretty quick service. Lots of locals always a good sign in my book. Small, clean local joint worth a visit.

Place is really gross. Cole slaw was awful. Temperature of the restaurant was freezing. Heavy smell of cigarette smoke

Great food, great price. Service takes a bit long but you can tell these ladies are working as hard as they can short staffed.

So I go in tonight to have the only half way home cooked food in Moundsville that exists and I'll never go back. I get a hot roast beef sandwich, mash potatoes and onion rings. I'm sitting at the bar which has a microwave right next to it. After I ordered the waitress goes to the fridge and grabs three bowls. Roast beef, mash potatoes and the gravy bowl. All three get heated in the microwave that's literally right next to me. How many times has this been heated and put away. I was disgusted. Also, I have a direct line of sight to the kitchen. The cook isn't wearing gloves and I watched him handle red meat then grabbed fries right after to put in the fryer. Then grabs more red meat and handles buns after that all without washing his hands. I cannot believe people aren't getting sick at this place. I'll never go back, you combine all those things with a place that looks like it's out of the 70's no thanks.
