Grandad's Pizza & Pub

So I am spoiled living in Connecticut but travel to this area 4x a year for work. Pizza outside of the NY & NJ and New England area is always a challenge. First service. Greeted at the door with an unpleasant eye roll, and menus placed on the table without a word from the hostess. Not sure if she was having a bad day, or that was the food forecast. The pizza was thin crust, sauce not good, and overall pretty poor. Had meatball and mozzarella and coworkers had a pizza sampler. This pizza would go out of business at home. Sorry. The Italian sub and meatball sub were a bit better than the pizza but not much. Our waitress was not attentive. We were done and she was busy cleaning the other half of the restaurant. Lots of televisions here. Good place to watch a game, but I would not eat here again when I come back in February.

I honestly loved grandads. We came here for my son's birthday. We called ahead for 9 people. We were seated promptly, and drinks arrived---- ok. Each time my husband ordered a drink, he got a drink he didn't order.. I ordered the Kids food first. We had two checks, ours had 3 kids orders. 2- cheese pizzas, with fruit cups and lemonade, and one boneless wings with tots. Then we ordered the adult meals probably 20 Min later which was a 10" cbr and I started to order a Stromboli with pepperoni and banana peppers. Admittedly I changed my order at the end to be a 7" margarita pizza. The boneless wings that came out the server spilled everywhere and said that the kids pizzas were behind but ahead wanted to bring the other kids food. Although ordered 20 min later, all of the adults orders came out before the two kids meal cheese pizzas. Everyone got what was expected except for me. I got A white margarita Stromboli. I didn't end up eating it.The kids pizzas didn't come out until the adults were finished eating. Which was over an hour after they were ordered. It was 10/10 the worst experience I've ever had there. We loved the food but the service is pretty bad and slow.

Only been for lunch during the week. Not overly busy. Good service each time I have been. Pizza is ok, but the lunch deal is pretty good. Salad, pizza and a drink for $10

Got the BBQ bacon cheeseburger and it was wonderful Fries okay but thats likely that I didn't pick up and eat them fast enough from pick up. The staff is very pleasant AND the Redhead usually behind the bar, helping me, is a Smoke Show ! Wow.

I heard the pizza here was pretty good. My wife and I decided to try it on our way through Hilliard. I liked the atmosphere, and had had a pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza. It's Columbus style, with a thinner crust. We really enjoyed it. We'd definitely stop there again.

Been coming here for years. Such a great place for kids/families. Always good food. Always a ton of kids running around. Bartenders are always nice. Beer is always cold. Great place if you are a local.

Second time ordering from here. First was a big , complicated to go order that we put in in person. This time, it was just me, but I'd been caught in a sudden downpour and decided to change my to-go order to eat inside. Staff is very kind. Ordered the turkey club sub and tater tots both times. Very tasty and well-prepared. Not fancy, but tasty and tots done just right. It's a bit loud inside - combination of music and customers. But nice if that's what you're looking for.

If you can't handle working with a service like Doordash, don't. A pizza shouldn't take 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

We go here for gluten free pizza and beer as one of us has Celiacs. Most recently we were so disappointed. The server indicated she didn't know what beer was gluten free aside from Angry Orchard nor did she make any attempt to inquire. Our good took one hour to arrive (not exaggerating). We were so disappointed in Granddad's this week.

the food was great like always!!! Our server sucked ass!!! The hispanic woman that serves there should be canned. Too busy kicking it with other customers on her ass. Had to ask another server for a beer cuz our waitress was sitting at another table for 10 minutes. No refills, NOTHING!!!!! This is the 3rd time having her and shes just plain aweful!!
