Gracie Jiu-Jitsu - Reynoldsburg

My eight year old daughter has been going here for about 4 months now and she loves it! James is an amazing instructor, he is so fun and entertaining that even the very young kids have a blast, but when it's time for technical instruction he has them trained to keep their focus high to learn. I know it can feel intimidating trying to pick a place to learn combatives, but James is so nice and inviting that it quickly feels like you are part of the family! I'm 39 and have been contemplating signing up myself! It looks like so much fun!

I was completely new to Jiu Jitsu and martial arts when I started going to GJJ in Reynoldsburg just a few months ago, and this studio is perfect for me. It's a Gracie Certified Training Center so it uses a standardized Gracie University curriculum that makes no assumptions about prior experience. There are videos available online that are super helpful. James Guynn is a great instructor who is funny and personable and pays attention to his students and helps them improve. It's also a great community of very friendly and supportive people that I look forward to seeing every time I go. There's a real sense of people pulling for each other and looking out for one another. Also, we keep the mats very clean.
