Goodman Uniforms & Embroidery

Mike is always so helpful . I have been coming here for six years for my scrubs and embroidery. They always have a huge selection and are very accommodating!

Goodman Uniforms is run by one of those guys that keeps a hand in everything. The stock ranges from legitimate nurse/chef/carhart uniforms to Halloween costume rentals (he proudly showed me his plush penis costume, which he only rents out to responsible customers). In addition to all of that, he does engraving, screen printing, and embroidery. Although the retail area is organized and easy to maneuver, it's so packed full of stuff that it looks completely disorganized. Mike, the owner, is a genuinely nice guy. I bought a hoody that would be 20 bucks at Target for 8 bucks from him. And his stock is so amazingly huge that it's pretty likely that you'll find at least a version of what you're looking for.

Has a warehouse feel & was a little messy. Parking was also a bit confusing. However, the attendant was extremely helpful & polite. He helped find exactly what I needed. I will definitely be back!

They saved me in a pinch. I brought over an embroidery project last minute and Mike was extremely helpful and kind. He went out of his way to make sure I walked away happy and with the embroidery done by my rather unrealistic deadline. I cannot recommend them enough due to the amazing customer service and quality of service I received. THANKS AGAIN!

Need scrubs? They have em, in tough to find sizes in just about every color. They also carry chef coats/pants and other goodies, as well as doing in house alterations. I went to 3 different scrubs stores looking for very specific items and while the other two were helpful and would order them, this store had what I needed in stock. The staff person was incredibly helpful! The shop from the outside looks oddly abandoned and its jam packed with products- browsing alone would be fairly overwhelming. But it's extremely organized for all its seeming chaos. The prices were competitive. The setting is very utilitarian but it worked. :) only warning is that there is a shop dog, that I caught sight of as I was leaving. He may be a service animal, I'm not sure. He was in an office (not in an openly public area) but if you're allergic or scared of dogs you may want to skip this shop.

Mike was amazing! He made picking out scrubs for my new job so easy. He's very personable and clearly knows everything about his stock, and full of suggestions for what I might like or what matched with what. I'll definitely be coming back!

I am an unusual size and always have a hard time finding clothes that fit or wear clothes that don't fit well. My wife bought me a bunch of new pants and told me to go to Mike at Goodman's and have them "done right". I have never looked so good in clothes that fit great! If you need uniforms, outfits, costumes, etc., this is one place in the heart of the city, easily accessible from anywhere in the city to get what you need.

Did a great job on embroidery I needed for an equipment bag and price was fair, but just a heads up, they're not big on customer service. Gotta have a tough skin to shop here. I made it clear that I was very easy going about how the embroidery would look and when I needed it done by, and the guy who took my order was still incredibly angry for no reason. Not shopping here again.

Mike is rude and displays very poor customer service skills. I called to inquire about sizes and place my order. Got my head chewed off because "people are rushing him for orders". At no point did I imply a rush. If there was any way to get around not having to purchase my childs uniform from Goodmans I would. Despite his feelings about certain customers that call - he should keep in mind that ALL customers purchases are what keeps his business a float.
