Golden China Express

Had my annual optho appointment in Worthington today, decided to see what was in the area. Stopped by a place I haven't tried that's been around a long time, Golden China Express on E Wilson Bridge Rd. For usual takeaway, it wasn't terrible. Decent rendition of MooGoo Gai Pan lunch for $8, a quart each of tasty wonton egg drop soup and hot & sour soup, which was a little too sweet so needed some post-op doctoring with red pepper and some vinegar. 7/10, I'll be back next year!

I went to this restaurant for my daughter. She loves this place because of their service and the delicious food. I always pick it up to go.

Favorite Chinese takeout place that I've had in Columbus! House rice is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly inside, but I've only ordered to-go.

Hands down the best casual Chinese food in Columbus. The couple is welcoming and always cook the order to requests! Took forever to find a spot like theirs who gets it right, and I'm so glad we now live just down the road from them.

It's my go-to place for great Chinese food. So glad I live near by. I tried several in the area since moving to Columbus about 5 years ago. They get it right everytime!

We love this place, our go to Chinese restaurant for takeout! Family that owns it is super sweet and love the soups there.

As you come up to this restaurant you wouldn't notice much but the food is super good. I only got one thing off the menu but I witnessed it freshly prepared and it was delicious. I ended up getting the Quart of hot and sour soup and it was some of the best I had. There was a ton of mushrooms, tofu, bamboo shoots, and egg in the soup. The spices were really nicely mixed and It was so full of veggies that it made itself into a full meal. The guy at the front counter was super nice and was super helpful when I asked if he liked the hot and sour soup. I will definitely be coming back to this place the next time my son has hockey next door.

The food is amazing. Customer service, however, is not. Had a lady screaming at us and rushing us to complete our order when we had never been there before and the place was empty by the way.She rudely interrupted us while we were discussing the menu. Then got angry and started tapping her cashier screen and kept interrupting us. If I wasn't in sales I would have lost it on her but I know how to de-escalate situations like this. We were kind, who knows maybe she was having a tough day? Either way you don't treat your customers like that. She basically threw the receipt at us.... and that receipt had the audacity to have a line for tipping. No thanks, I'd tip a convicted serial killer before tipping that B*tchAs Ariana says ---Thank you NEXT!

I've only ordered takeout from here but it was worthy of a review! The Shrimp egg rolls are some of the best in Columbus. Whole shrimp, fresh veggies, a crispy wrapper make for a delicious bundle of joy to eat!!Also of note is their Chicken and Rice soup, which seems to have magical, mystical healing powers (YRMV) and is extremely tasty! The broth is perfect and nice big pieces of chicken. The rice holds up nicely and is filling and healing! I get 2 quarts at a time since it's priced very economically!Finally - the Pork Fried Rice - really good and loaded with Umami tender pork pieces and just the right amount of veggies and sprouts and egg. I am trying the LoMein tonight so I'll update my review after that!!

I was that person and ordered a little close to closing but this place came through and even through in some free crab rangoons, egg drop soup, and made my night of being able to eat until I hate myself. I got the kung pao chicken and it was *chef kiss*. Quality and quantity were through the roof. If I'm having another night in I'd definitely order from here again.
