Gionino's Pizzeria - Westerville

Service is excellent . Ambiance is a pizza style restaurant.Food is good. However if you don't like a lot of dough you won't like this pizza. The pizza has a good flavor.

Stopped here going thru Columbus on route to Akron. Always loved Gionino's pizza in Tallmadge Ohio where I grew up. This location should not be called Gionino's because nothing is the same. The pizza was alright but nothing like I expected. I don't think I will stop here next time. It did say under new management.

I ordered the 6 inch cheese pizza ( lunch special ), and the two piece chicken snack, white meat. It comes with JoJo potatoes and Cole slaw. The pizza was okay, I would probably order again--you can't beat the price of $2.95. Will see if I can add pepperoni or sausage to it next time. The chicken has a breading that reminds me of the store bought shake and bake breading... It was not bad. The only problem is that for the price of $10+, the wing was very small, and the breast was tough-- could not chew the thick part of the breast--had to toss half of the chicken . The JoJo potatoes and Cole slaw was the best (but had to pour off the excess dressing on Cole slaw as it was a little soupy. I would probably order again if I can substitute extra wings for the breast. The only other downside to this restaurant is they charge a surcharge if you use a credit card.

After seeing rave reviews about the fried chicken and Jojos at this place, we finally tried them out for dinner one night. Based on other reviewers' feedback, we got the chicken, jojos, and cole slaw, and completely skipped the pizza. The chicken has a garlic flavor to it, but that seasoning also added to the salt level, which I did not care for. The jojos were excellent, and was my favorite item of the 3 things we tried. The cole slaw tasted nice, but was extremely runny. All in all, I don't get the craze about this place. The fried chicken here is just ok and too salty for my liking. The jojos are good, but not enough to make me want to come back.

Parking:This location is in a busy shopping center, but Gioninos has 15min parking spots for quick pizza pickup. 5 stars. Front Desk: Employee at front desk was chill and the cooking staff hollered from the back and complemented my size and asked if I competed in bodybuilding, cool guys. On a separate occasion, I've called and asked this location to deliver and they came outside of their delivery range for me. 5 stars. Pizza:This is the best tasting pizza in Ohio, no contest. I've gone to several Gioninos locations and they're all consistently amazing. 5 stars. Conclusion:My favorite restaurant is in Mexico, which I will Love Forever, but this might be my favorite USA place to eat. 5 stars.

This friendly neighborhood pizza joint is a franchise that offers quick and easy take out with a wide menu selection. Their pizza crust is thick and crispy, buttery, and delicious. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side but very good, and the cheese and pepperoni aren't too greasy. It keeps well. Service is good, easy and quick. We usually just call ahead and come pick it up. They do have delivery as well. The overall inside at most of their locations we've been, including this one, is a small waiting area. No indoor/outdoor eating area. It's all takeout.

It was hard for me to give this review because I had a good experience with their catering from one of the franchises. Ordering the pizza was very simple and streamlined. I was quoted 30 minutes but it was ready before that. The building is tiny, essentially a walk-in drive-through, with just a counter and beverage fridge. The employees were nice. The pizza was probably in the running for one of the worst pizzas I have had. I ordered a thin-crust cheese and pepperoni, and a regular-crust BBQ pizza. The thin crust was better, but the BBQ was borderline inedible. Both pizzas were soaked in grease, so bad that when I tried to take slices they just broke apart into soggy chunks. You could probably wring them out for grease for more pizzas. Afterward, I felt like I needed to spray dish soap in my mouth to get the greasy feeling out. I was unable to finish and threw a majority of the pizza out.

Really good take out pizza! They don't have a full restaurant to sit and eat. It's just take out. The pizza sauce is a sweet sauce but is super good! I would recommend asking for a well done bake if you like cruncher crust. I customer held the door open for me so I don't think they heard me come in. I did call back to the employees a couple of times, finally someone heard me. He apologized a couple times and was really helpful! Will be back!

We love Gionino's, the chicken and jojo's are so so good. Always crispy and flavorful. The pizza is great, they never skimp on toppings. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side. We've always gotten delivery and the order has never been wrong. It's always hot and typically arrives faster than anticipated. Highly recommended!

Not only did I pay $3.50 for extra mozzarella on a pizza and not get it, I also asked for these wings to be extra crispy. These are soggy beyond belief, as I'd imagine they were made last year and I was just now handed them. Some of the most disgusting wings I've ever had. I should have listened to the rest of the 1-2 star reviews.
