It's eight Sundays a year open 12am-4pm, except in December, during Village Lights it's 3pm-8pm. Just like it sounds, over 60 local makers bring their baked goods, jewelry, leather crafts, flowers, art creations and more, here for you to peruse and hopefully buy.Admission is free and everyone is welcome. They even have food trucks, drink stands and today they had entertainment. Some stands are a second store front for a bigger businesses and some are folks that run a smaller business in markets like this. It's all good. There's quite the variety. We had fantastic weather on our only chance to experience this treasure. As you might expect, we drank too much, ate too much and spent far too much on the local crafts. You only live once. Parking sucked. We had to walk a couple blocks. It was a decent area making for a nice stroll.Everyone involved showed us so much heartfelt hospitality and good will. We talked to so many locals and learned so much about the area and the town's history, it was a total shock that we'd spent 4 hours here. 10/24

Great people (and dog) watching. Really nice variety of local vendors and a few food truck options. The Jennings Java coffee booth was a welcome sight. This market gets very busy quickly and the space it takes place in is pretty small. Parking is tight in this area, so you may have to walk a bit. Market runs until early December to coincide with GV Village Lights.

Explored the German Village Makers Market one weekend. The market is intimate , but filled with many local vendors and makers. They also have a couples food truck options.

This is the first GV Makers Market I've been able to catch, so I guess I can say thank you COVID for allowing me to slow down my everyday activities, and swing by and check out the local businesses' highlighted from around Columbus. I will say, it would have been great if more local independent makers around Columbus joined in for this event. HOWEVER, this year's GVMM taking place in the middle of a pandemic, and these trying times, I loved being able to peruse the different venders, hear about their offerings, ask questions, all with no hurry and a smile on their faces. I did get a face soap "lipstick", a few t-shirts, an aroma candle that's so exceedingly bold and smelly. The second one I went to had a few new vendors, one of which had super cool shirts with space-themed patches sewn on. I couldn't pass one up, so I was happy to support. Of course I purchased a slice of Pook's Bakery Lemon Lavender cake, which was POW! lemon, and absolutely ROCKED in the flavor department. Perhaps a bit on the drier side, but perhaps that was an abnormal thing - a one-off glitch.

This is a cute hyper local market down in German Village. One thing I appreciated is that all of the Makers are actually makers - there are no vendor booths (no pre-fab roofs, no direct sales). The event has a nice mix of home goods, clothing, and gourmet goodies. If you go later in the afternoon, it wasn't super crowded and there weren't crazy lines for the food trucks (except for the soft serve, but, of course!). Some of the vendors were beginning to run out of items, but, personally, I think that is a sign of a well-attended event with happy customers! There are plenty of food options at the Market, or you can walk a little and find any of the GV standbys for a nice afternoon.

I've now attended 3 of these markets and it's a pretty good time. They are well organized, with plenty of shopping and food. There is a good mix of food trucks. We always get lunch and either walk to the park to eat, or cop a squat on the curb. There are several vendors selling sweets/baked goods, jewelry, clothing, soaps, coffee, plants, etc. Everyone wears masks, and a lot of the vendors are credit only so they don't have to handle cash.I look forward to the next one, even though I spend too much money.

Great market on Sunday's! Lots of variety for sellers and great food trucks. Lots of dogs there as well! My only complaint is it's a super small space. Very cramped when trying to distance and no where to sit to eat from food trucks. Lots of sellers were sold out of things quickly too, just seems like volume and popularity is more than anticipated all around.
