German Village Coffee Shop

Seriously good food. I was greeted kindly and promptly upon my arrival. This place gives off that hole in the wall, welcoming vibe that you crave when eating at a diner.Everyone, including the patrons were wonderful to be around. The experience from the front door to the plate was absolutely wonderful!I went with the Mushroom & Swiss Burger and the flavors presented were phenomenal! Such a juicy burger and well balanced with the toppings. For the side I went for the fries and onion rings combo and it's a proper portion that has the right crispy consistency. Everyone should absolutly give this place a try!

Small local resembling their german heritage. But as they say, the good stuff comes in the little containers.The pancakes were freshly made with the taste and texture of heaven.My sandwich was warm and of a great quality.Definitely recommend for breakfast.

I would really like to give 4.5 stars. The only reason it's not 5 stars is they left bacon off of our breakfast sandwich. We were in for lunch today 12/23/2024. It was quite busy but seating was ready in an acceptable amount of time. They greet every person that comes in and the staff really hustles. Drinks are refilled and there were multiple check-ins by servers. They keep it clean and keep people moving.

This is a great place for breakfast; I know it gets really busy at certain times, but we (my aunt, her friend and myself) met here at 9 on Monday morning. We got a booth right away and were served coffee. We each decided on entrees; I ordered 2 eggs with hash browns & rye toast. After that I saw on the specials board they had Peach Cobbler Pancakes. Yum. I ordered this as an additional, to go. The food was great, and so inexpensive that I wish I lived closer. My aunt's friend is a long-time GV resident and well-known here so she chatted up the friendly staff.

The s'mores special was on point yesterday y'all! The service was fast and the coffee was hot! My only recommendation would be to add some flavored coffee creamer or coffee shots and I would have even paid a little more for them!Great place for a quick diner type feel that doesn't break the bank!

This place is always busy but for good reason! My most recent visit was on an early Saturday morning. There was about one person in front of us and we waited about 15 mins, but the line was building while we were waiting so make sure to get there early. They don't let you choose whether you sit in a booth or at bar, which I was fine with, but is something to keep in mind. I got an omelette with cheese, bacon, spinach, jalapeños, and hash browns! Loved being able to have the hash browns inside the omelette, it was so good. The bacon was also thick and delicious and my server let me know they buy their meat from a local butcher and the majority of the food is local! I love this place, the vibes are great, the food is good, and the staff is always friendly. Always a good spot for breakfast or brunch, and German village is such a fun neighborhood.

Well, we keep coming back here so obviously, the food is incredible, service next to nobody. It's unbelievable how great they take care of you. Ambience just the way of breakfast lunch place should be.

I have been here on three separate visits to German Village. The food has always been super good and they cook it right in front of you. I love how the inside is old school style and has the great atmosphere of a little diner. Our servers have always been super friendly and help with suggestions. Definitely recommend!

Very reasonable, good home cooked breakfast. Service goes hand-in-hand with the greasy spoon atmosphere, which is nothing bad but, good! What bothers me is the credit card convenience fee (just put into the cost of the food) and the 25% plus higher preloaded tip selection paying with credit. Don't force fees and higher then 20% tipping on customers. It's was not much but aggravating!

The club is the best! However any menu choice is a winner in my book! The bacon is thick and cooked to perfection and the pancake of the day is wonderful!!
