The coneys were hot and tasty. The hot dog was bigger than the ones served at Skyline Chili. The French fries were hot out of the oil. No cheese served with the original coney. I will need to remember to ask for it next time. My husband had the chili and it was a bit thin and not very hearty. The service was quick. There are 3 or 4 tables and a counter to eat in the restaurant. There was a tv playing in the background but it was not too loud.

We have been on the lookout for a replacement Coney restaurant since losing Phillip's Coney Island. We found George's while searching for restaurants on Yelp and after seeing the photo of their food felt we had to check them out. The restaurant is in a strip with various businesses and does not look like much from the outside. The inside is small and it is not ideal for big groups looking to eat inside. There are maybe four tables total, as well as a few seats at a bar by the register. We were greeted with a smile and after placing our order of Coney dogs and fries, we waited maybe five minutes before our food was ready for takeout. Very impressive service!! And after one bite of these dogs, we knew we'd be returning again and again. Delicious!!!! They taste just like Phillip's Coneys!! We can't wait for our next visit!!

First time trying George's and I picked a beautiful day to do so. I had to be in Grove City on errands and needed to eat lunch before finishing my stops. I used the Maps feature on the phone to search for nearby restaurants and George's popped up. I purposely avoided looking at any reviews or pictures so it could be totally new for me. I arrived at 11:20am and was immediately surprised at how small this place is. That's not a bad thing. I was greeted by all 3 of the employees and I stopped at the counter to place my order. I was dining in so I was directed to sit and they would take my order. The menu is as small as the restaurant. Again, not a bad thing. Do a few things exceptionally well rather than many things mediocrely. George's has counter seating for about 4 or 5...I didn't get the exact count. I sat at a table (1 of 2) that seats 4. All told, eating in will accommodate 12-13 unless my math is wrong or I missed some seating. There was one other couple at the other table but a steady stream of walk-in carryout orders. I looked over the menu and placed my order for 2 original coneys with coney sauce, mustard, and onions. I also added an order of chili cheese fries and a Diet Pepsi. The Diet Pepsi was served in an unopened plastic 20oz bottle which was absolutely the way to go. I loved that so much! I prefer it in the bottles and enjoy being able to cap it and take it with me. My coneys arrived first and they were steaming hot and loaded with sauce, onions, and mustard. I picked up the coney and it was on a perfectly steamed bun and it smelled delicious. I took one bite and my fries arrived. It was a heaping plate of perfectly cooked fries covered with chili and cheese and the steam just rolled off of them. The dog was very hot and I elected to finish them with a fork due to spillage. I separated a bite of the dog from everything else to get a taste for it and it is a good wiener. Steamed nicely (same as the bun) and retaining its heat until I finished. The onions were plentiful and very mild with no onion aftertaste. I like onions but do not want to taste them throughout the day. I do not know if the coney sauce was homemade but it tasted like it. A little salty in a good way with some heft. The coneys were fabulous! It would have looked bad to lick the plate but I thought about it. The fries were terrific as well. Not shoestring but not steak fries, they fell somewhere in the middle and were crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The chili covering them had a nice chili flavor that made me want to try a bowl of chili next time. The cheese was melty and gooey and they were some of the best chili cheese fries I've tasted. All of that said, I wished I had skipped the fries and gotten 2 more coneys! No regrets, though, I will definitely return. All that I mentioned: 20oz Diet Pepsi, 2 original coneys, and chili cheese fries totaled $14.41. Lunch was filling (I'm writing this at nearly 6:00pm and I am not hungry for dinner), inexpensive and fabulous. Top notch all the way around.

Hidden gem in grove city. Food is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. The location itself is small so carry out would be the best in my opinion. I'd recommend to anyone. Great food great people.

Cute mom and pop sort of place. I loved the conies there and the slaw on top. It is a great place to go for a good hot dog.

The place is small, but clean and polite with that small old diner feel. Gyro was very good, thin light pita, full and flavorful, nice tzatziki sauce. Prefer sliced lamb to chunks would be my only criticism. The supreme/deluxe salad was huge, again plenty of food, fresh and good. Mac n cheese was cheesy but super soft must have sat in a steamer awhile. The chili coneys are fair sized, nice chili, bun and toppings. The dog itself has the texture of mush fresh out of boiling water, not good. Fries were thick cut, average and not real hot. 3 of us for lunch was almost $40 so it's fair food but nothing spectacular for the price.
