Fried Chicka Bang!

THEY NO SHOWED US! We placed a pickup order through Door Dash on a Saturday at 7:45. I arrived to pickup our $40 order at 8:15 (they close at 8:30). I opened the front door to a dark restaurant, no employees, no food, and set their alarm off. After driving 30 mins in an attempt to support a small, pop-up business, they don't even have the decency to honor their set hours. Apparently the kitchen closed, staff bounced, and they left without even turning off their Door Dash service. (A Door Dash driver arrived at the same time.) As a good citizen I called the non-emergency police to request to secure their building. Never got any call or email apology from ANYONE with Fried Chicka Bang. We had to appeal to Door Dash for a refund.Called to speak to a manager today and the person who answered said there "probably wasn't a manager there," put me on hold, then hung up the phone.

Heard about this pop up restaurant and if you like fried chicken sandwiches you much try! I loved the hot stopper. Nothing better to me than a spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles. The breast was big and juicy and perfect breaded. I will get this again!We also wanted to try something a little different so we got the sporty spice that had pickle onions on it. I personally like the hot stopper better. Pickle onions not really my thing but my boyfriend LOVED it. Their homemade ranch was delicious and their waffle fries were nice and crispy! I could go without the Mac and cheese to be honest. However, it's a friend chicken place so I don't care! It is difficulty to find. However, it's a pop up restaurant so more fun to find!

I'd been reading some of the comments about the price being expensive here, but I've always felt that if it tasted great, then it would be more than worth it. Tried it today based solely on their pictures and thought "well, that looks like a good hunk of chicken and $14 for a chicken sandwich isn't bad if it's like that"...I was disappointed that it looked like any fast food chicken sandwich, with the exception of Popeyes. They have a great sandwich at much less the cost($7.59)and larger too. So, back to Fried Chicka. Two people, out the door for $34. The location is awful. I had to plan this a little bit and told myself by the time we got our food home it'd be cold. So, we ordered for takeout/pickup. Only option. And we walked back to the car where, yes, you have to pay to park. And ate, just like fast food. I ordered the Ghostface. And it was really good and really spicy. But I was very disappointed at the size of the chicken breast. It was nothing, absolutely nothing like the pictures would have you believe it was a good hunk of chicken. These come with chips as a side. I can't think of anything less filling than chips. It feels like that's just something they feel they have to add so you don't feel too bad paying $14 for a sandwich. I paid extra for waffle fries. To recap. Was it good? Yes. Did it warrant the price? No. Not for the small chicken breast that I got compared to all their stock photos. Mostly bun and spice. I felt a little scammed. It bothers me a little that I planned this. Safe to say I won't go again. Hope others have better luck. **UPDATE: roughly two hours after eating here on 3/6 at, 4:15 (when we ate) we both experienced severe stomach pains. And that lasted well after 2am. We decided to get delivery last night on the fly... Fried Chicka ended up on the radar, and I figured I'd give it a go. When you're craving comfort food, how can you go wrong with fried chicken? I tend to avoid fried things when ordering delivery, but I had to give it a go. (There's nothing worse than steamed fried French fries, right?)For delivery food, our chicken and our fried cauliflower stayed surprisingly crisp and really hit the spot. It wasn't too spicy, and we really enjoyed our food. I will add to a previous reviewer's note that the pub chips were overly salty. We'd order again for sure.

Damn Good! So very delicious! I placed a pick up order. Everyone was so pleasant and nice! I had the Alabama Barbie and my mother had the bless your heart. Both were great! I will be ordering from here again!

This spot was really good!! I was a little confused right of the bat because it was very hard to find. It is located inside the sunny street cafe in the evenings while they are closed. The customer service was great and all of them were extremely helpful and sweet! Be sure to go in to the place and order for yourself/call ahead because you get 10% off as opposed to grubhub or door dash etc. the sandwich was huuuge and very flavorful. I will be back again to try different flavors!

This place is amazing! They are food network quality for sure! They are organized, never mess up a sandwich (even on large orders), the staff are friendly and it's probably the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had (and fantastic salads too). The only downsize is picking which sandwich to get!

Just tried this place over the weekend, and i got the Bless your heart sandwich which came with pub chips and a ranch sauce, the sandwich is a very good size and lots of pub chips, the portions will definitely fill you up. The sandwich was very good the chicken is very juicy and seasoned, the pub chips are delicious with it without the ranch dipping sauce, i would just ask them to lightly salt those next time, but still very good, I can't wait to try the other sandwiches and fries and chips.

Everything was good. The food, the service, the speed on how fast it was cooked. And the unique chicken sandwich creations they had.

Best fried chicken I have had in Columbus. We got the Chicka Bang and the Choo Choo with the pub chips and mac and cheese. The sandwiches were fried to perfection and had the best toppings to compliment them. The sides and lemonade were delicious. The staff was great and very helpful. I can't wait to go back and try more items.
