I was here Friday night for a Match event for singles. It's a nice event for several reasons: some people give a better impression in person than electronically, you see how the person handles problem solving, and it's fun to dance. The staff could not have possibly been nicer. They had non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages on hand as well as nibbles to keep up our energy. They facilitated chatting before we got started. Then we were taught the basics of dance, and randomly paired up. As the lessons progressed we switched partners which gave everyone a chance to meet and talk. There was a break in the middle and then more dancing! This studio is not fussy. They didn't make us dance barefoot or in stocking feet if we didn't have dance shoes. The instructors and class helpers have been dancing from 5 months to years. They demonstrated the class levels the studio offers. They have private lessons, group lessons, and dance parties to allow for more dance opportunities. They have their own parking lot and the building is easy to locate.

Rather than risk international embarrassment and going viral for all the wrong reasons, my daughter got us a few lessons at Fred Astaire before her wedding. She knows me and my limits more than I do. I mean, it's her reputation and her wedding, so I need to get this one right. She made the reservations and I got there early- and was greeted by the staff to a studio walk through, complimentary beverage, and a basic interview of previous dancing experience. Aside from various high school dances, prom and my own wedding a lifetime ago... my dancing resume is sparse and lacking. No worries. They listened to the song we chose and thought we should go with a mix of the American & Viennese waltz. No pressure. The studio wasn't huge, but once I got to it I realized it didn't need to be. My daughter and I shared the floor with 2 other couples dancing as well, and it was enough room for them to be safely down range of me and my two left feet. But honestly, by the end of the lesson I could do what the Instructor asked, kept time and my framing, and my daughter's embarrassment was being counteracted one STEP at a time (what I did there). We have another lesson before the big day, but even after the wedding I think I'll set my wife and I up for some lessons so I'll be prepared for the next event that comes up. + Plenty of parking+ They go over what you learned and what to work on before the next lesson+ Reasonable prices+ VERY friendly staffI'll be back.

We never thought that we'd be ballroom dance people, but after over a year and a half, we're still here! Amy, Keith, Renae, Sam, and Sarah make dance fun and inspiring. I've never felt so supported and challenged at the same time. It has given us a great sense of accomplishment, a wonderful group of dance friends, and a new way to enjoy music.

My husband and I had so much fun taking lessons for our bridal dance. The instructors were great to work with and so patient as we learned the steps. We wowed all our guests at our wedding reception with our surprise dance routine. It is a memory we will cherish forever.Jennifer B.

My wife and I have been married 36 years and we'd never danced a single step together. One day our friends invited us to an open house at Fred Astaire Westerville. We had so much fun that we signed up for their introductory lessons. Then we had so much more fun that we began private lessons that included group lessons and weekly parties. It wasn't long at all before the pros there had us dancing the foxtrot, waltz, rumba, tango and so many more wonderful dance steps. A huge thanks to Amy, Mark, Sam, Sarah, Keith and Victoria. We have learned so much from you all and will continue doing so. We look forward to even more fun in the time to come with these new skills we and the many new friends we have made there at FA Westerville. Dance On!
