I cannot knock this place as it is not really meant for the typical single family grocery shopper. Sure, it has a few snack items and some single meals (bags of dumplings, some drinks, etc.) but it is by and large a place for bulk shopping or for business owners. There is a wonderful selection of bulk spices, pans, woks, and all sorts of other cooking-related tools even down to large jugs of bubble tea tapioca pearls in jelly for $45. So with context in mind, the only real downside here is that in the back area there is almost not enough room to get a cart around. It is pretty packed to the brim with "stuff".

I drive by this all the time and thought I had stopped in before, but nope. Small, but well-organized and packed with stuff. I needed some ramen and found plenty of varieties of that, and got some durian biscuits. Lots of snacks, noodles, dry goods in general. Live fish and produce in the back (not much of either.) Lots of cold and frozen items. A large area with kitchenware. Oils, cooking wine, etc. Some sauces. Plenty for most recipes. Service was friendly and prices were really good. I will definitely be back. It's handy when you're in this part of town.

I like these little Asian markets like Four Seas Emporium. It has some of the most authentic stuff you can find. The lady behind the counter is friendly and can help you with anything. It has lots of common and more interesting foods. There's also lots of cooking supplies. I came in to look for sauces to go with a recipe. It had them as well as many other cool things. They have lots of varieties of tofu. It had some of these preseasoned. There was even a vegan goose thing made from tofu skins. In the back was chinaware and cooking stuff including woks. The cooler in front had Asian beer, soft drinks, and interestingly enough they have Smirnoff Ice. I would check out Four Seas Emporium again. It's a lot more fun there instead of the Asian sections at the grocery stores. They have many options for many tastes.

There's really no excuse to buy a few ounces of McCormick's Chinese 5 spice powder for $5 when you can get a pound of 5 Spice from here for $4. This place is a no frills environment, it's just items on shelves. The staff was very friendly and helped me find everything I was looking for. They've got lots of interesting ingredients and treats, but also plenty of staples like tofu, rice, and spices for a lot less than Kroger and Giant Eagle. Definitely worth a visit to stock up.

Staff were friendly, shop was small but well organized, and the items were well-priced. Got a lot of great snacks for under $20.

A few years ago while living Clintonville I purchased from this store many times. They were friendly and had many spices and things that you just gotta have when you are cooking Asian food. Today, the wife and I decided to pay a visit and buy a few Tilapia for our meal. Now, in the past, there was a Chinese Grandmother that would grab your selected live fish from a tank in the back, clean them scale them and voila! Fresh Tilapia ready to go. Today, there seemed to be different people sitting there. Only one, a middle-aged lady seemed to speak English, and after we told her what we wanted, she translated to a younger female. The answer was at first, we have Tilapia but, she won't clean them, then after that it changed to, we don't have Tilapia. The wife and I looked at each other, kind of amazed at the quick change up, and the scowl on the young female's face. I dunno, perhaps they changed management? This was the best place in the area to get your ingredients, which always came with advice on how to make your meal tasty. Not sure what has changed there. Too bad.

Went into this place to buy seaweed and asked the woman working, who stayed on the phone the entire time, for help. I asked if they had a product and tried to show her the picture, but without looking said they didn't have it. Wow, I couldn't believe it, but I still decided to take a look around. I decided on a couple of items and went to the register. No one. I hit the little ringer to alert someone I was at the register. No one. I am amazed at how rudely I was treated here. Never again.

There is a fun back room with lots of cooking supplies and we will definitely be back. Service was wonderful and the store was not too busy or overwhelming. Wonderful and affordable spot, I will definitely be back!
