Fortner

Unfortunately Fortner no longer does residential work unless it's over $1000. At the beginning of 2020, they replaced the foam in the cushions of my leather sofa and made 2 custom seat cushions for my window seat. Now my 4 leather dining room chairs need new foam in the seats, but alas, they can not help me. Sad.

I've had Fortner do reupholstery several times. This summer I had them reupholster a sofa and ottoman and custom make throw pillows. I could not be more pleased. They look amazing! I also had them rework a vintage leather side chair and they did a phenomenal job on that, too.Mark Cryer assisted me throughout the process and can't say enough good things about him. He is professional, creative, extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. I have these dining chairs that were passed down to me from my grandparents when they both passed away. It is a beautiful set that is in pristine condition. I have hesitated to recover them, fear of not pleasing my parents, would my grandma approve. There is a lot of sentimental feelings with these items and Begley did an amazing job, bringing my vision to life. When I saw them, I cried and was beyond happy. I took them home and put the chairs back together and they were so beautiful! Thank you so much for your quality work. I am certain they would do good work. However, I dropped off an ottoman and it took them six months to get me the fabric samples. I was very unhappy with their service.

I was given the challenge of overseeing our office renovation project. At the last hour, we flipped from purchasing new waiting room seating to restoring our existing and adding in custom benches (30 seats total). To add icing to the cake, the project was to be completed in the weeks around Christmas and New Year's.My initial call to Begley was absolutely reassuring. I had phoned a couple other companies and I was met with opposition, doubt and even a laugh as though I was crazy for even proposing such a project. Anne and Robb were extremely helpful. WIthout hesitation, they quickly gave me an estimate and the very next day we were ordering fabrics and arranging pick-up.Over the course of the project, I was kept updated on progress and never once did I doubt the result would be anything less than stellar. BEGLEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The final product not only exceeded my expectations, but the owner of the company as well and those who have seen the updates.I highly recommend Begley Upholstering to anyone whether their need is small or large. We already have a second project lined up and wouldn't even think of going anywhere else.

We had a most comfortable chair, but alas it was worn, torn and moldy! Begley's transformed it into a tough beauty that we will pass down through our family. They took time, this is not a place for hurrying, but they really know what they are doing. There are hundreds of choices, patient service people-- we took hours to find just the right fabric. The chair looks and feels brand new. Reupholstering is not cheap, it takes hours and hours, far more hours than I have patience for. But the result was magnificent. I highly recommend patronizing this place, the results are worth waiting for. It took about ten weeks, which was hard to bear, but the finished chair is just beautiful. (They are just finishing a major renovation.)
