Misleading, doesn't care for their students, uses a high stakes exam to weed out nursing students in their last semester. Tells students to shut their mouths... the list goes on. Very unprofessional & falsely influx's their NCLEX pass scores by setting up a made up number with an exit exam to allow people who they think will pass to take the NCLEX. High turnover rates, threatens students, and doesn't care about anything other than money. You're better being on a state schools nursing wait list than to pay $50K+ to get through the whole schooling and be told you have to pay an extra $3000 to retake a class although you passed it. A waste of time, money and resources.

Westerville Location - If I could give this ZERO stars I would! The Moto for this school is "Fortis College, where the rules are made up and the policies don't matter"!! First, faculty changes like a person changes their undies. Second, their policies don't make a dang bit of difference! They do not follow and if you stand up for yourself you are ridiculed, mocked, discriminated against, and retaliation prone! Whomever said going here is a double-edged sword couldn't have explained it any better! The farther you're in the program the deeper the sword goes, and there is not pulling it out. Communication is a non-existent unless it's faculty teaming up against you, scheduling is a laughably based on favoritism (IF you even get one before your quarter), The belittling is heavy, especially in. your last two courses of the ADN program. The insinuation that student rights exist is a JOKE! You have zero rights, and they only follow policy if it benefits them or if you are one of the selected few that they bend the page for. I literally got through it all with my head down and ears open, but got screwed in the end when the last test was filled with nothing but chaos. The corporate side thought it was cute to make everything about their lack of "environment without interference" my fault, and throw another policy at me, with the added incentive of false/irrelevant information just to add to their denial. This all being said there are a handful of amazing instructors that actually do care! The education I've received, not including Capstone, has been very appreciated! I have learned so much and I am thankful for that! I would never recommend this location in ANY way! They have a lot of work to do and I'm shocked they haven't been reported numerous of times!! They tend to lose information and have the worst documentation ever, which isn't exactly consistent with an education in nursing. I know of several people that lost their passion for nursing based on the assistant dean's belittling/bullying, lack of integrity to policy, and lack of leadership.

Personally the education aspect was great. There are instructors there that I've built great relationships with. However, the communication between the business office, student services and financial aid is embarrassing, unproductive and frustrating. Along with the lack of communication, I have had personal records "lost" as well as unaccounted for "fees" pop up prior to receiving my diploma. The school itself is a scam & is filthy. I hope everyone is able to complete their programs before the school shuts down as a whole. Let's also talk about how I took a CPR training and those records were also "lost". The instructor got fired and everyone in my module had to have fake forms recreated and posted as complete in order to receive their BLS certification. This also applies to the students who truly failed- they were passed on paper. I would not recommend Fortis College to any aspiring students, if you have the 16k for tuition, take it to a NATIONALLY accredited college that is reliable and accountable. I am thankful for my diploma, but disappointed by Fortis College as a whole. What a let down.

I wish I could give the school a zero star rating. When they start you off, they don't even start you off in the beginning course of your program, they just throw you into a course and expect you to know what's going on. They lie all the time and no one knows what it is going on. You get told one thing by one person and another thing by the next person. The school has switched deans and program directors. New instructors are coming in and some don't know how to even run a classroom. This is school is a joke and I wish I would have did more research on this school before enrolling.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL... They was terrible to my husband thank god he finished school. They didn't give him his certificate until he pay 100 something dollars that's was a** ! and there reasons why was because " PEOPLE " don't pay them back. LIKE IF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH US... we are not most people... & I feel like they put us in a category "because we are black" Smh so we had to wait until his pay day to get his certificate.... DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. It's more to it but y'all warned...

Going here is a double edge sword. There are great people and instructors that work here. That's completely over-shadowed by the bumbling financial office, plagued with a lack of clear understanding and communication, along with belittlement towards their students once they've got their "hooks" in you. The program I completed was the HVAC/R module and it was pretty unorganized aside from Ms. Cheryl whom saved this program from complete uselessness. Well over $20k later with a lack-luster 11 months of inconsistent mostly useless teachings, I was finally entering the field of study just to discover that it was worthless. I had to do more schooling, 5 more years. Save yourself some money and go to a Pipe Fitting union hall. Free school and a much better job versus residential work.

My wife checked here before entering nursing school elsewhere. They tried to talk her into a low paying assistant program. It was clear they were just trying to take her money. It seemed high pressure and sleezy. Thank goodness she went elsewhere to a nationally accredited nursing school with better ratings. AVOID!!!
