Fork in Nigeria

I always see them at different event and finally try them for the first time at the Worthington Arts Festival. Fork in Nigeria mission is to bring on the traditions of authentic Nigerian cuisine as they serve around the area in their food truck.I did studied the menu beforehand, as I'm not quite familiarize with Nigerian cuisine. This time I got the Stewed Chicken meal. It include the stewed chicken leg quarter, jollof rice and sauteed veggies. The chicken itself is moist and pair with the tomato based stew sauce. It is full with flavor and definitely loving it. The jollof rice is fluffy and also tomatoey as it stewed in flavorful tomato and pepper puree.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the jollof rice with stew, plantain and vegetables. They didn't have any more jollof but they had fried rice. I previously had their jollof rice and it was good so getting the fried rice was this time was cool to try. Everything was really good from the fried rice, veggies, plantain & the tomato stew. Def get the tomato stew! I also ordered a zobo drink and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend trying this place. The service was good as well. They were apologetic for not having jollof rice but accommodating by offering me two other options of rice they had available. Finally as far as the ambience it's def a carry out spot in the winter time but they do have some outdoor picnic tables to eat at during the summer

Amazing balance of spice and flavor in this egusi stew. The fufu is light and fluffy and easily edible with your hands!

Really different and delicious. I would eat here again. And suggest this place. My ancestry is 70% Nigerian.

The stewed beef meal was very nicely seasoned and nice portion of beef. The meat pies weren't very remarkable, they were also pretty cold even after eating right after we bought them, I will try another side next time.

I ordered the okra and pounded yam. The okra was like a stewed okra. It was good but both items cost me $13.50!! Tasted good but not worth the price in my opinion. That's their business & I can't knock them for it. I'm used to more than a bowl of soup for a price like that. Service could've been better as well. Woman was very short with me...seemed annoyed with my questions. It was my first time driving all the way there.

Nothing but amazing . Great food , fast service and seasoned very well. I hate trying new things but this is a great decision. I've yet to be dissatisfied

An in-law raved about this spot while visiting jn Columbus Ohio and I wasn't impressed at all. Firstly, it is a food truck and they had a schedule of where they would be and we got there and there were not there. Wish they would update things as they go. Secondly the food was over priced $15/$16 for some meals that I think should be $12 max. Thirdly the food wasn't that great. The Egusi was watery and the jollof was not good at all. The only good thing on the menu that I tried was the Suya. That I could go back for whenever in the area.

If you like rice and vegetables, then this is your place. But stay away from the Goat Stew and check your plantains!We just tried the Fork In Nigeria food truck at the Worthington, OH Art Festival and we're sadly disappointed. The Goat was gamey tasting and almost all FAT. LITERALLY CHUNKS OF FAT! And we had no desire to put our fork in that. The plantains were well seasoned with a tomato based sauce. First couple pieces on top were a little under ripe, but tasty. After the first layer was gone we were left a pile of over ripe mushy disgusting plantains, that should NEVER have been served to anyone! Lucky for us we have Nigerian friends and know what good Nigerian food should taste like. I wouldn't waste a fork on this mess!

Normally i love coming here but today the gentleman working gave me a nasty attitude and wouldn't allow me to speak to order my food. He should not be working here if he doesn't know how to talk to his customers. I wanted a refund and he flat out ignored me. I won't be back
