Flyers Pizza & Subs

Flyers has been our go to pizza joint in our area. Consistently great pizza, with salads, strombolis and calzones. Personally recommend on-line ordering and carryout (Grab it and head for the couch for a football game or family hangout). Great turnaround time (20-30 mins) and easy parking lot for pickup. They have a nice indoor seating area, but only tried it once with a kids soccer event (super friendly and organized). They have multiple types of crust, but we stick to their original. As for 'Flavors' - Our favorite is the Bomber. Everything you could want on it and cut in squares unless requested otherwise. We also recommend a Chef's salad with blue cheese, and try their stromboli if you need to shake things up. Staff is super friendly and they earned our loyalty every time. Thanks Flyers.

I give up. After ordering a number of thick crust pizzas where the pizza was overbaked to the point that I considered the crust burned, I began selecting the 'lite bake' Option and the last two pizzas have come with raw dough. the outer crust literally separates from the toppings when you try to pick up a slice. how hard is it to properly cook a pizza? Apparently too hard for this place at $50 for two large pizzas.

We really like Flyers pizza, but for the life of me, I can't figure why the bottom of the crust is so greasy. If I were to make a homemade pizza, which I do sometimes, there is no grease. Same toppings. Why Flyers??????? ‍

I can't understand how Flyers is rated so highly. Of all of our options in the Powell area, Flyers has to be the lowest. Nothing about their pizza tastes or appears that work was put into the creation of it. The crusts look pre-made and just topped, they taste the same - flavorless and like cardboard. I have tried Flyers on at least 3 occasions, delivered at home, eaten in, at parties, and it has never once been worth another bite. Do yourself a favor and eat at Local Roots ($$$) or Jets ($) or Brooklyn Pizza if you need some good pizza in the Powell area.

Always great gluten free pizza. Amazing customer service and attention to detail! Would love to see GF appetizer options as well as dessert. Even something like Soodles cookies (like the crust) keep frozen then thawed when a guest orders. *just a note: the chips are cooked in the same oil as gluten containing items. Often times of you dine in at lunch ask if the dryer had been cleaned and drained. If so, you might be able to eat the chips if nothing had been fried. Just ask :)

I'd heard a lot about Flyers and was eager to try it. So last Friday we ordered a pie and some wings and enjoyed a night in. The wings were pretty good. Not great but passable. Unfortunately the pizza was everything I don't want in a pizza. The sauce was sweet. The ground beef was grey with no real color or browning. The crust was largely flavorless. Was the pizza bad? Maybe not. But it was certainly unremarkable. A let down for sure compared to what I'd heard about Flyers. Not a horrible pizza if you need a pizza. But not worth going out of your way for either.

I love Flyers! Awbrey is the best and so accommodating and kind along with the other girls who work upfront with her!
