Flip Side

Flip Side is hands down one of my favorite spots to grab a great meal and unwind. Every time I go, I know I'm in for something special, but my last visit on March 1st was next level--thanks in no small part to the incredible bartender working the day bar. Their friendly vibe and top-notch service made the experience even better.The Smoky Burger and the Brownie Milkshake. Absolute perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and stacked with tender brisket, smoky barbecue sauce, and rich smoked Gouda. Every bite had that perfect balance of smoky, cheesy goodness. The brownie shake had chunks of fudgy brownie and walnuts, my absolute favorite.

Mindy was very knowledgeable on all the craft beers on tap which was appreciated. My friend, I was meeting there ordered fries prior to my arrival and told me they were cold so when I placed my order, I emphasized that I loved HOT fries, however, they were barely warm and soggy with grease unfortunately. The beef in my burger didn't have much flavor, which was very disappointing and I spit out a huge onion skin on top of that. My friend ordered the handmade potato chips which came in the smallest bowl you could think of and were completely hard as a rock and burnt. I really don't want to take away from this business, but there is another place within walking distance that is half the price and tastier. There was a total of around 5-6 other customers in the restaurant and it took a whopping 45 minutes to get two dinners. Lastly, it was closing time, and as we were getting our coats on a staff member which I believe was probably a Cook came up and spoke to us very disrespectful in a ghetto tone " you need to leave ". That type of behavior was very uncalled for as I was clearly already leaving. All in all, not the best visit!

Food, as always, was delicious! Our server, the bartender, was great! The hostess, however, needs more training. Rude, unpleasant, and inept don't begin to describe the level of incompetence. We joined the waiting list, arrived at the restaurant just before the early time listed. She did successfully find us, and we asked to sit at the bar. She said there were no places. We were prepared to wait. A couple walked in who were not on the list moments later and asked to sit at the bar. She told them she would ask, and promptly seated them. When we questioned her on her return, she answered she was seating us next. She said, not nicely, "I just texted you." Every time she walked past us, she side-eyed us. Again, great food, but please put someone pleasant at the door, as it does impact the experience.

I almost missed the restaurant because the name of the building isn't facing the street it's facing the parking lot that is across from the life time fitness. I pulled in and couldn't find it then my niece found it once we got out to walk around to find it. Lol There is a small patio that is covered it looked so pretty in the daytime I can only imagine what it looks like at night. Once inside it's open and there is a small bar off to the right. There is a restroom sign by the kitchen. I felt like I was about to walk into the kitchen. lol but it's a single restroom and there was a line. It was clean and it smelled like bleach it was really strong! But I'm glad because some restrooms aren't as nice or clean. The menu was different and I liked it! I ordered a kids cheese burger with bacon and bbq sauce on the side! The burger was huge! It was very delicious! My waiter was really nice and it wasn't too loud! Will bring my fience here soon!!!

Excellent service, burgers and brews. We were seated quickly and served promptly. There was a beer event going on that had tasters but it didn't delay our service. All our food was good and we left full

Stopped in here on a Thursday night. The parking lot near the restaurant was full, so it took a little while to find a spot. We got seated immediately and our waitress was attentive. We started with the onion rings. They were crispy and large onions. The breading could have used a little more flavor. I ordered the chicken sandwich with hot sauce. The chicken was juicy and had a nice flavorful crispy crust. The hot sauce added extra flavor. The aioli had a fresh lemon hint and paired well with the chicken. The fries were fresh cut. I wil

Best burger I have had at Easton! The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly, the mezcal cocktail was delicious, and I am a sucker for Brussels sprouts lol The temp of the meat ran a little pink for me and my friend, so I was glad I went with medium for my Black and Blue Burger. It was absolutely perfect! It's a little pricey on the whole, but not really when you consider the quality of ingredients. The decor was fine. Nothing to write home about. The guy delivering our food was awesome, our first server was polite and attentive, but our second server was barely present which was too bad because I was hoping to try a shake after we had been there a while.I wouldn't call this a destination burger, but if I'm at Easton I will definitely eat here again!

Flip Side is a burger joint in Easton Town Center. It's located around the corner/behind Pottery Barn and Banana Republic. There is curbside parking with meters as well as a small lot right directly outside of it that has free parking. This is a great place to come to if you want a good burger. It has a true burger joint/bar type of vibe They have many varieties to choose from. They make burgers with the following protiens: angus, bison, turkey, impossible patty. The buns are always fresh. For people who might not be into burgers they have chicken, grouper and 3-4 salads. (I recommend the Kale but ask for extra chickpeas). My only complaint here is: food timing seems off. Now, service here is always friendly (the servers are great) but there is a bit of a disconnect often between the front of the house and the back...Orders seem to either back up or get unnecessarily delayed. It seems to occur at a 1:2, 1:3 ratio. However once you get your order, the food is delicious.

We were shopping at Easton near Flip Side and decided to eat lunch there. After walking in we waited nearly 5 minutes to even see anyone that worked here. We were "greeted" with the question "table for 3?" assuming the person who walked in a couple minutes after us was part of our party. We got a table for 2. After sitting we waited another 3-4 minutes for a waiter to take our order. While these times might not seem significant, they are since there were only 3 tables already seated with guests. We gave our order and then the real wait began. Looking around at the other tables I noticed no one had received their meals. After we were seated it took another 15 minutes for any food to come out of the kitchen delivered to the other tables arriving ahead of us. We waited nearly 25 minutes for our burgers. I had the Flip Side burger with cheese, red onion jam, and bacon with fries. My wife had a cheddar cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, and mayo with fries. My burger was barely average. It was overcooked, did not have any red onion jam, and the bacon was beyond crispy approaching burnt. The french fries were better described as "french fried potato pieces". We were running short on time so I did not say anything. Having had this Flip Side burger a few times in the past I can only think that they were having an "off" day. The music playing was very loud making conversation difficult. None of the staff were smiling and the person seating guests seemed to be annoyed by the arrival of guests. Not a friendly first impression. We'll give Flip Side another try at some point and hope this was the restaurant just having an "off" day?

Stopped in on a Friday night around 6 pm for dinner with my mom. Great experience! Our server was attentive and we were seated at a high but not the highest level of tables. The truffle fries were tasty and a large portion for the price, we split them. I ordered the Brunch Burger and beef bacon, local egg, and the maple syrup added a lot to the Ohio beef patty. The hashbrowns were my last favorite topping but they were okay still. Take a look at their cocktail menu - it seems to rotate but the names are pretty funny. I ordered the 2 Star Yelp Review which was kind of a blackberry margarita and it was great.
