Fitzy's Old Fashioned Diner

I must have driven by a hundred times on my way to and from work and just didn't realize it was a diner. I love diners but haven't been able to find a real one. Until now.Diners are my favorite place to eat because they are owner run and generally making everything from scratch. And made to order. Fitzy's didn't disappoint.My first try was the Reuben. The sandwich was spot on and the portion was tremendous. I also liked the fries as they were crispy without being overly so. I like a good Reuben and now have a place down the street I can get one. My second was having breakfast. Fitzy's doesn't open until 8 am and I am usually at work by then, but I went during lunch. I ordered the pancakes with sausage and 2 eggs over easy. I like over-easy eggs on my pancakes and usually peanut butter in between. They haz no peanut butter at Fitzy's so I had to go without. They did have sugar-free syrup though, so it kinda makes up for it.I can't recommend the place enough. The food is good, and the people are friendly.

This is my favorite spot in town for breakfast, my friend and I try to meet here once a week. The Food is amazing and I have never had anything that tastes bad. It is made fresh and you can see them make it in the kitchen from where you're sitting. The service is always very friendly and they are always there when you need someone. The whole vibe of the place as an old fashion diner is very nice and it's a very clean place!

Fitzy's Diner is not a fancy place. Probably no Cappuccino or Latte's here, but just good food. My wife and I enjoy eating at places like this and they are all over America, but never in a high rent area. Our waitress, from Oregon, was wonderful. Having family in Worthington, we will be back!

Solid diner with great food, especially their large, tasty sausage. A tad more expensive than I expected, until we went to Original Pancake House the next day, which was almost $10 more for 2 people, without the coffee that I got at Fitzy's. I also thought everything tasted better including the pancakes. Try it, you'll like it.

A little hidden treasure in the Columbus area. Well worth looking it up. We had breakfast there. My son got the Chicken fried steak, which was GINORMOUS and he said it was yummy too. I got a pancake, one was plenty! THey are as big as a normal size dinner plate! and tasty! I would go there again if i am down Columbus way again in a heartbeat. I would love to try the rest of their menu. Great service too.

Finally on this side of town. Have wanted to try for years I just never got over here to do it. Only open from 8 to 3 so it's breakfast and lunch selections. It was a hard choice between breakfast, but I went down between the Reuben sandwich and the chili with cornbread. I was afraid that that the chili would be too soupy and I prefer thick and chunky so I went with the Reuben and instead of fries fresh fruit. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, home fries, and eggs.Reuben was delish - not greasy or messy. Could only eat half. My husband loved his meal. Next time will definitely order the chili - it looked thick and chunky. The floor bothered us - looked dirty but could have just been seasoned. The best is that they have a menu with smaller portions and - you don't have to be a kid to order from it.

Stopped in today for a small stack of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Come in and support the staff. Thanks Bob

I found Fitzy's via TikTok, and it looked too got not to try! Definitely did not disappoint! Service was friendly, food was fresh and delicious. The sausage links were the girthiest in the land, biscuits and gravy were great! The vibe was cool, and not franchise-y at all, which is hard to find.

Another great trip to Fitzy's! Visited on Labor Day, service was on point. Whole family left full and satisfied.
