Feather Your Nest is exactly the kind of store you'd expect to find in a quaint downtown. When you walk in, you're overwhelmed by pale pinks and greens -- everything to make your home "pretty." They stock everything from lamps to wall decorations to candles and more. There's a back room with clearance items, which I love. Everything was 50% off in there when I visited. In the front of the building is clearly the focus of the business: Vera Bradley. I can't imagine there being much from the designer that isn't in this room...purses, clutches, wallets, totes...it's all here.

Attention home decor and boutique shoppers: this store is the cutest! I love popping in to see the new decor and clothing items/ accessories that surface during the season changes. I often find very cute pieces for my home- whether it's a refurbished furniture piece or unique items for my home. I tend to pick up a scarf or item of clothing as well. While this store is not massive, it is a decent size space that is filled to the brim with merchandise. I take care to walk through a few times to make sure I don't miss out on any items. My favorite time of year to stop in is around Christmas. I always find cute stuff that I can't get anywhere else. I even noticed that the store has offered lettering and jewelry stamping to personalize gifts this year. Be sure to follow this store on social media so you can keep up with store hours and special hours and events.

I have taken two of their sewing classes and had a great experience both times. I look forward to taking more classes in the future. Their classes are priced consistent with the offerings at other shops in the area but what you make is way cuter so I think that is a big advantage. The shop is full of cute stuff! Pretty expensive but it is all one of a kind type stuff so if you love it enough, the price will be worth it. The selection of fabrics is awesome! Much more expensive than what you find at Walmart or JoAnn (basically twice as much or more since things run 10-14 per square foot) but these are higher quality SUPER CUTE fabrics that you wouldn't find at JoAnn).

I would not recommend this store. If they did not sell Vera Bradley I dont think they would be in business. Not only were the employees clueless, they were outwardly rude. Everything but the Vera Bradley seemed cheaply made and overpriced. They can try to make the store as cozy as they want, but with the employees being that miserable, it leaves you with a very bad taste in you mouth. There are too many antique stores in the pickerington/canal winchester area that I would much rather spend my time and money in rather then give the rude proprietors any money. I kept asking myself with attitudes like that how are they still open, but the vera bradley explains alot. In other words....save your time! Dont go!

Great shop for vintage shabby chic painted furniture. Prices reasonable and they are so helpful. Good place to get Chalk Paints and Milk Paints too. Got some yesterday and going to give it a try on 2 nite stands I bought next door. Well worth the visit if you are into shabby chic and beautiful fabrics.
