Great customer service experience, Marie is great to work with. Our cake was beautiful, reasonably priced and delicious. We will definitely get cakes here again! The best buttercream I've ever had.

It's nice having a brick and mortar location to come get Fate Cake's cookies. When done to my personal likeness - EXTRA SOFT AND GOOEY*, it'll be nice to not have to drive all the way to Linworth for a sweet treat! *I should explain: I first stopped at HTH Market for Fate's cookies, as I saw on her IG she delivers there. My stop was not planned, but I was absolutely elated when I saw several of their cookes - soft and gooey, lined up on the side counter. They were so unbelievably soft, morsels of pure joy. Assuming that's the standard MO, I ordered some of her cookies for a pick-up date at the same farmers market. However, those cookies were not very gooey and soft, as my firsts. I was a bit bummed, but decided to not give up. Thus, this third FC encounter came to be. I haven't tried Marie's cupcakes, cakes or cheesecakes (freaking CCCs keep drawing me in - hook, line and sinker), but if their anything like her cookies, I don't doubt the quality. On top of the tasty sweets, Marie is a pleasant gal, animated, and a bomb-ass baker! Congrats on the new space, FC!!

We order a box of 12 cupcakes ( Buckeye, vainilla lovers, red velvet and salted caramel) for our daughter's birthday at OSU! Since we are out of the country and She was in quarantine we wanted something special!! They arrived early enough in the exact day and she loved them all specially the red velvet. Thank you for a sweet surprise

We ordered these cupcakes for my 19th birthday! The salted caramel and the buckeye cupcakes were delectable. On the chocolate and vanilla ones, the icing was very off. Maybe it's just a personal opinion, but we didn't really like those ones at all. Other than that, the specialty cupcakes were awesome! This is our first time trying gourmet cupcakes, and it was overall pretty good! We got the "custom assortment". I say if you're looking for some unique, outside the box flavors, you should totally try Fate Cakes!

From the moment I inquired about placing a custom cookie order all the way to delivery, Fate Cakes provided impeccable service. The talented team created a custom cookie order that not only looked beautiful, but tasted amazing as well! I love how they allow you to order any amount (after your first dozen) of cookies instead of by the dozen(s). My communication with Fate Cakes was done via text. I do love a good phone call, but for this type of thing texting is preferred. It's the perfect way to show your picture ideas and be as specific as possible. And the best part!? Free delivery with a handwritten note. This southern girl values handwritten thank you's, so what a pleasant surprise this was!Thank you, Fate Cakes for your attention to detail and incredible customer service. You know how it's done and you DO IT WELL! Kudos!

We ordered a dozen gender reveal cupcakes from Fate Cakes. Everyone we shared with absolutely loved the cupcakes!! We will definitely be back. Thank you for helping us celebrate our baby BOY!

The cupcakes were delicious! Friendly place. A great stop to pick up a treat after school for my grandkids. I'll be back for sure!

This is the second time we used Fate Cakes for our grandson's birthday cake. And again, they did not disappoint! The ordering process was easy, they were very responsive to any texts I sent, and so friendly. The cake was exactly what we asked for and it was delicious!! We will be using them for all our events and birthdays.

Wow! Marie is not only a very talented and amazing baker, but she is also so genuinely kind! I just needed a very small and very simple birthday cake for my son's 28th birthday. Ben died in 2020 at 24, and I have taken a cake to the cemetery to sing, blow out candles and celebrate with him for the last 3 years. Marie identified with me as a mom and understood the difficulty of my task at hand. Meeting as strangers, when I went to pick up the cake, I was greeted with (welcome) hugs and tears as though she knew my Ben and missed him as much as I do. The birthday cake was exactly as I requested: flavorful, moist and perfectly sized for the occasion. I even took an oatmeal creme sandwich with me, for the road, and...OMG...ah-ma-zing!!! This world needs more small businesses with the heart and talent that Fate Cakes does!! 10 stars!!

Ordered a cake for my friend all the way from Chicago and Marie was so communicative and attentive. She designed a Wrestling theme cake and it turned out great. Thanks for making his day so special!
