My parents go here and I came along for the experience. I didn't take pics, but was happy to see it in Yelp. It's cute. We got watermelon, butternut squash, zucchini, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, potatoes and there was more Excellent prices for things grown in her garden, for example $ .50 a lb for potatoes(this was a special) and $2.50 for respectable bag of green beans. It is basically a large refrigerator and prices are posted. It is an honor system-write down what you are buying on a small notepad, add it up and leave the cash in the box. The owners is Mennonite and it is an older couple.

One of those classic throw-back farmer markets. This is a no frills, local establishment that isn't looking for a bunch of new customers. This is one of those word of mouth places or just driving by and going in on a whim places. The Farm Barn is literally a barn at a residential house. The barn has a small open sign on it that makes you welcome to walk in. I did not see a single person or sign that anyone was around. This place relies on honesty and integrity. They have sticky notes and a pay box for the customer to write down what they bought and put the cash into the box. Prices are clearly marked and a scale is available for you to weigh what you get. I like that these places can still exist in the world that we live in. This places specializes in tomatoes and sells them for $1 a pound. Their tomatoes look to be natural as they don't look like the perfect tomatoes one buys at the chain groceries. The tomatoes look like the ones I get from my garden out back. I like the trust and small scale of this place. The owner also has some bake goods for sale like cookies. From some of the notes on the wall, it looks like that the owner sometimes makes more baked goods for Friday and Saturday than during the week. They have a variety of veggies grown right there on the farm, If you are out near Plain City and want local and cheap veggies than this place fits the bill. I was only hoping to talk to the owner to find out more about the place but didn't have a chance. The owner does have cards in the store so you can cal.

we have been getting our produce from "Rachael's" for 8 years and are so happy she is there. We would be lost without her all of her produce is safely grown.

Great produce at great prices, from a lovely human being. Always the freshest summer tomatoes and everything else that's in season. She sells wonderful bread and other baked goods, too, from her air-conditioned little farm barn market.
