I wish I could give this location 0 stars. I went in with a friend because she needed to make a purchase. I didn't plan to make a purchase, but then I saw the 75% off section with the holiday candy and such. I grabbed all of what I saw that I liked and made my way to the checkout. When I got in line there was a young man purchasing a multitude of diapers and wipes. There was a young lady sitting on boxes stocking things next to the register. She made a comment as if she was annoyed saying that she just stocked that stuff on the shelf and then started asking him to buy her some diapers and wipes for her kids... So unprofessional. I got to the register and the cashier began ringing up my items. None of them were ringing up on sale. I told the cashier when I got the merchandise. It was all in a section that was marked 75% off, and there were multiple boxes of stuff there, so it's not like someone just placed the stuff there that they no longer wanted to purchase. The cashier called the manager over to the register. Low and behold, the manager was the unprofessional lady begging a customer to purchase diapers and wipes for her two kids. The manager stated that the things must have been put in the wrong location and only one of the products I wanted to purchase was on sale. There was no apology, no other explanation. I was asked if I wanted to purchase the items or not, I chose not. There are too many Family Dollars. Just go to another one.Plenty of off-street parkingMessy inside

The sign says grand re-opening, but this place is brand new. I just noticed it was open, and the clerk said it opened three days ago.Clean, as expected, and organized like most Family Dollars. It seems a little bigger, and there is a wide selection in many categories: food (dry goods and cold stuff,) home goods, health and beauty, etc. I checked out diapers just to see what they have: small selection, but enough that you'll find what you need. Candy was the main reason for my visit, to get penny candy for work, and there was a fair selection. Prices are reasonable, though not everything is at a steep discount so do your homework.

Walking up to the door should be a warning that this place is going to resemble a junk yard. There's trash blowing around - enough to make you wonder what awaits you inside. More of the same. Not just trash but products dropped in the aisles, boxes piled partially blocking the aisles and a large push broom propped against an end cap. And the shelves are haphazard at best.I appreciate being greeted when I walked in but I think the store doesn't reflect any respect for the people who shop there. At the very least make the entry look like a sincere welcome. Customers deserve better.
