Fa-Ray's Family Restaurant

I have been coming here since 1985. Many owners and menu changes but 1). The current owners are great and you get quality food / good value. I love their foot long coney dogs. Same bun, and coney mix/meat. Their onion rings are crunchy and good. Get some ranch dressing and add frank's hot sauce. Service was perfect. We never "wanted" for anything.

This restaurant used to be my go to when it comes to breakfast. Unfortunately that has ended. When my wife and I ordered, we found out that there was only 2 choices for toast, wheat and rye?Then when I received my breakfast, it only had 1 slice of toast instead of 2. They said they had a bread shortage? Was still charged full price for the breakfast?Our favorite server quit there a couple of weeks ago. New ownership is terrible.Sorry, won't be going back. Plenty of other great breakfast places around the area.

I took a little while to order but I set waiting for 30 minutes for them to bring me some roasted chicken.I ordered mashed potatoes. They brought me fries and I got iron rings. Nothing was hot, it was warm. It's almost like they forgot about me and forgot to bring me my food.The price of the food was way more than what it was supposed to be on the menu. I ordered a chicken dinner for 1399.I would not recommend it. My plate was covered in grease in the chicken was rarely hot. I guess they forgot about it. It was so bad I was debating on just getting up and leaving without paying So mediocre I will never ever go back here again I am so disappointed. I work way too hard for my money.

It took absolutely forever. Everything came out cold. Then took 20 minutes to get our check. Terrible experience.

A Barberton staple. Great food and the service has improved greatly since they've cleaned out the less reputable servers. I would now recommend them to anyone.

Stopped here on our way home from Cuyahoga Falls. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We were so glad we took a chance on this gem!!

Got the chicken and dumplings it tasted like dish rag water. Not very good. Also got spaghetti plate with meatballs. Came with two big meat balls which was not enough for the amount of noodles given. Same with sauce very light on the sauce and one small measly freezer breadstick. Service was good. Food not so much. Mashed potatoes are also very bland it's hard to mess up mashed potatoes.3/10

We used to go here often then after being sold the SERVICE and food has gotten worse. Used to be packed on friday evenings for their fish was there at prime time maybe 12 people there. First server was VERY rude discussed with ??manager?? she listened but to hones t did not care. For sure has lost another customer. What a shame used to such a nice family restaurant.

The server was in a hurry and very unfriendly. She was older middle aged woman with curly hair. She brought us cold food and took 20 minutes to get the bill. What a waste of time. Their was food on floors where they pushed it off table. Very poor service and last time I will go their.

Great food, cooked by the chef with the glasses!!! The burger was amazing and fries were seasoned to perfection!
