We experienced Columbus by participating in the coffee trail and earning a free T-shirt. Fun activity to do with family or friends. Gets you off the couch and out of your rut of the same old, same old coffee houses. Visit this location, Easton, or any coffee house listed in the trail to pick up a passport. Visit at least four different coffee places listed and get your passport stamped each time. Redeem your stamped booklet for a free T-shirt.Friendly employees at both the downtown and Easton locations. Remember to check in on the Yelp app to find a coupon for four free postcards. Pay to park any around the block.

Stopped in to get my free pint glass after making four stops on the CbusAleTrail. I picked a Saturday afternoon during an away Columbus Blue Jackets game. Parking was easy to find nearby without spending money on the garage. If you check-in on Yelp you get four free postcards. Was surprised by the amount of literature to be found. And I expected this to be a little hole in the wall place. There's definitely room for expansion. I found art walk routes which I took for Clintonville and the Arena district. I'd seen art walk stops in Clintonville but didn't have anything to reference so I'm happy to have this info.

One star for the free Ale Trail Pint Glass, and one star for the variety of available brochures. Other than that, we must have gone on an off day, because we were not impressed with the small room of overpriced souvenirs and the unhelpful gentleman working the desk. Not only did they have no public restrooms, (in a downtown visitor center, you really don't have bathrooms?! MIND. BLOWN.), they couldn't tell us where we actually could use a restroom either. Staff refused to honor the Yelp check-in offer for free postcards. Local Jeni's ice cream freezer sparsely populated with nothing but chocolate ice cream. Definitely the least useful city's informational stop I've ever been.

Only came here to buy postcards. Not a big selection though the cashier was very nice and helped out with any questions we had.

This year we decided to make a conscious effort to shop local for the holidays. Of course, we had to hit up Target to fulfill some of the wishes on the kids list but for everyone else, we really took extra effort this year to find something meaningful and special AND local! It helps that Experience Columbus helps Columbus takes pride in the local owned business, shops, restaurants and more. With the Experience Columbus #MadeinCbus trail is a curated collection of local makers and you can snag a passport at various locations around town. When you shop and purchase something at four locations on the passport and turn in your passport to the Experience Columbus Visitors Center you will earn a free Made in Cbus tote bag. Some of the locations include: The Candle Lab, Helen Winnemore's, The Red Stable, Red Giraffe Designs, Three Buds Flower Market and so many more. During December, after you shop at any four shops on the Made in Cbus trail, you can drop off your completed guide to the Experience Columbus Visitors Center (400 N High Street Columbus Ohio 43215 OR 277 W Nationwide Blvd #125 Columbus Ohio 43215) and you will be entered to win gift cards from many of the participating business and the grand prize of a night's stay at the Hotel LeVeque.

So many fun things are always happening around Columbus and Experience Columbus is a really great resource! The online website is a great place to find things happening around the city. We finished the coffee trail and went to the Experience Columbus center on Sunday afternoon to redeem our shirts. The shirts are really cute! And they seemed to have a decent selection of sizes. We actually tried to go to the Convention Center first, but it's under construction right now so we continued our walking trek down to the arena district. This visitor's center is right across the street from Huntington Park. There are a bunch of little Columbus souvenirs for sale here too.We decided to pick up ale trail books.... where you can get a pint glass for visiting 4 breweries. It's in it's second edition and runs for a year beginning May 2016. The lady working was just nicest lady ever and we just hung around and talked to her for 10 min and I honestly could've talked to her all day... and we're not usually big chatters!

Once a tour guide, always a tour guide. I got my Washington, DC tour guide license back in 2001 and have spent the years since helping people plan their trips there. I love it! There is something so satisfying about helping people discover a city. If Columbus offered a tour guide license, you'd better bet I'd be the 1st in line to get it!!! But they don't so I rely on Experience Columbus to let me know what's going on around town and set me up with deals at local businesses. If you're looking for something to do this weekend, go here (http://www.experiencecolumbus.com/event-calendar.cfm), and even better, click the Free button and it will give you a list of the free events going on in Columbus. Wanna go on a Segway Tour of Columbus, go here (http://www.experiencecolumbus.com/special-offers.cfm?cat=play) and get a coupon for $5 off! I use their website more often than actually going to their office, but you can still pick up their visitors guide at Easton (inside the station) and check out all their suggestions for fun, cool things to do in the city and some nice day trips if you're ready for a break!

Well, I read a review in a magazine recently (I THINK it was Columbus CEO or Business First) in which Experience Columbus was set to reveal a new marketing plan to drive business into Columbus as conventions and travel to the area in general is down roughly 30%. However, as I was reading it, I was thinking to myself, this is STUPID. This new plan is SO RIDICULOUSLY patronizing- about the city we live in! I was livid! There was a mention of it being sarcastically humorous....while I consider myself 'sarcastically humorous', I have to say nothing about the new plan sounded either. It was just crazy. I am desperately trying to find this article so I can post the link for you all. If anyone has read the same thing, please let me know...did I just mis-read or what's going on. If I am right about this, then I am so upset at Experience Columbus. What in the world are they getting paid to do exactly?!!!

Quaint area within Mexico City, lots of art, history, shopping, places to eat, drink and relax in a different atmosphere. I recommend you take the trolley tour ~ 60 pesos per person, takes around 30-40 minutes but gives you an historical and cultural overview of area of Coyoacan. Go to the Coyoacan market and explore it. Eat tacos at Manolo on the corner, take a stroll to Frida Khalo blue house museum ( Recommend to buy the tickets on internet and avoid the long line).
