El Sabor de la Vida

Have you ever eaten EMPANADAS? The meat and potato empanadas at @614_elsabordelavida in Columbus, Ohio are phenomenal. These empanadas are slightly crunchy on the outside and packed with meat or potato's on the inside. You also get a couple different kinds of sauces with this meal which are each very unique. This food truck is permanently located at 447 E. 17th Street just off Interstate 71. If your looking for some authentic Cuban, Guatemalan or Colombian food, this place is fantastic!!!!! By the way, the name El Sabor de la Vida means The Flavor of Life.. what a perfect name for this great little place!

This food truck sits on 17th avenue not far from 71. They have great food, good prices, and fast service. We got a plate of beef nachos. They were covered in beef, beans, cheese, sour scream, lettuce, and tomatoes. The chips were durable and stood up to the amount of toppings. You get two different salsas on the side, green and red. I didn't try either, but my husband said the red one was really spicy, so he ate the green one. This was a good amount of food for $8! And they can make the nachos vegetarian or with different meats. I was also impressed with the variety of foods they offer. You could even get a Cuban sandwich! There is definitely something for everyone.

An amazing spot for Latin American food in Columbus. This food is authentic, the service is great, and it's quick too! I would highly recommend supporting a local business that has such amazing food & definitely deserves it. I tried the empanadas and the sweet plantains with refried beans and rice and it was some of the best food I've had in cbus. Try it sometime!

Absolutely amazing. Tasty empinadas, and the brasilian burger was to die for. Food was hot and fresh, when it got to my house. All the salsas they included were delicious and flavorful. Also, I'm pretty sure they either make it their own ketchup or use a specialty ketchup, it had some extra somethin somethin.

Everytime I visit this food truck, I'm greeted by a nice lady who from Columbia who runs the truck. Food comes out quick and is always fresh and tasty. The taco truck is located in the parking lot of camps corner store. I've only had tacos and Burritos from this place but something tells me everything they have on the menu will be just as good. Some of the best salsa I had in Columbus... give it a try!

This place is amazing. It is actually Colombian with some items from other Latin American countries. The beef empanadas were the best!

Food was great! We had a burrito and quesadilla which were very filling especially for the price. The Cuban hotdog was fantastic, will be going back for it.

Mrs Francis is awesome. She cooks very good. I tried empanadas, tamales, lechona, hot dogs and hamburguers and everything taste really good.

Amazing Empanadas and Arepas! Perfectly cooked and served. Very reasonable price too!

I ordered at Al Pastor Tacos and Al Pastor burrito. Together it was $16. Such a good deal for amazing, filling food. Would recommend!
